RingsideFightgear Master's Competition Headgear (Red, Medium)

Absorbs the punches. I could hardly feel anything during my last fight wearing this headgear! I would recommend this to others for sure!

I have a 22.5 inches head, and I bought a Medium. Medium fits pretty good, and I could probably bought a Large and it would fit well too.The cushion/padding is remarkable. I sparred with it today and my sparring partner and I was slow sparring. I didn't feel any punches. The cheek protection really covers my nose (I have a flat Asian nose). You sweat a lot in it, so I do recommend a sweatband or be ready to wipe your eyes with a towel between rounds. I like the product and yes I prefer a Winning FG-2900, but if you are on a budget like me then get this one.

Dense thick foam all the way around offers a lot of protection, nose and mouth feel safe behind all the thick padding. If you are going to be competing in masters your headgear choices are pretty limited but this option feels very safe, it will just take some time to get it to fit right.Headgear will require a break in period, the leather and foam are very stiff and the first time you put it on it is really uncomfortable. Had to put it around a soccer ball for a couple of days to get the shape to be more natural. The chin strap is also very far forward so you don't have to worry about it choking you, but it doesn't feel very secure. The top has a single velcro adjustment that is OK (laces are better), but the top after a lot of trial and error can be adjusted to fit alright. Rear adjustment is big thick velcro patch. It'll hold but isn't as good as laces.

Great piece of equipment. Have used it lots, very little slippage, cinches tight and good protection. Masters approved, just what I wanted.

Great headgear, visibility is good, quality material and the protection is good. However it is very bulky
