The brass bearing is fine, but it pulls away from the plastic flange under load, deforming it and making the whole thing loose and not very usable.

Not supposed to turn dumbo.
This is called an oilite bushing. It is not SUPPOSED to turn. The bushing material creates the bushing effect. Next time do some research!
