Sky Doll: Sudra

For those who need to know: This appears to follow after the sky doll plot in the water city. I'm not sure how much further after that since unfortunately its hard to navigate the arcs of Sky Doll and I don't all of the series (yet). One of my worse gripes about Sky Doll is the lack of a numbering system or info about which part follows the next. Along with the fact that it's sometimes hard to get confirmation that the book is English or if it's in another language.My copy was in English and story was excellent. All the characters are really engaging and fantastic.Ludovica is a mess but it's interesting to watch how her world works with her one moment and completely against her the next. The art and personality of the comic always reminds me of Blumm cartoons which were my favorites as a child.I'm not sure what the obsession is with the corners or the hard bound books? Mine appeared to be rounded maybe slightly dented but it was nothing that I considered worthy of all the fuss I've seen generated. The pages are great and immaculate and the art is gorgeous that's all I needed to be happy.

I love the Sky-Doll series. It is beautifully drawn and written. My biggest issue was that the hardcover book was sent in a bubble mailers. Both times I had to send the book back because the corners were severely damaged. I wished the mailing facility would have taken care to send it in a cardboard box.

Great comic with a story that keeps you flipping pages but the art is so well done you have to take a moment before you do. Shipping was fast and came as described

Es en tapa dura pero, como suele ser habitual en las ediciones británicas de material europeo, de tamaño inferior al típico álbum; lo que aquí sería el formato "jibarizado", vamos. Por lo demás, muy bien...

Me encanta el arte de Skydoll, solo que yo me equivoqué pensando que estos eran artbooks cuando en realidad son comics de pasta dura... Incluyen una pequeña galería de ilustraciones que vale mucho la pena... No hay queja, el papel es muy bonito y hay mucha calidad en la impresión...

La continuación de Decade, justo cuando pensabas que no podía mejorar la calidad de dibujos y fondos este tomo te toma por sorpresa! La historia se densa más y más, yvte deja en suspenso total. Muy al estilo de Barbucci y Canepa! Gran calidad de impresión y materiales,
