Great product, easy to use also on less windy day

I purchased a BEBOP Fire kite during a kite festival in North Dakota. The lady recommended the beginner version (this size) as I didn't have any experience with sport kites. After many crashes/trial and error attempts at flying (I'm uncoordinated), I have found this kite to be tons of fun. A good 15mph or so sustained wind is about perfect for performing stunts and just plain flying. The line is rugged and hasn't broken after dozens of flight hours. The kite has taken extremely hard hits on the ground by me and my 7 year old and other than some scuffs on the nylon nose, it keeps on ticking. It takes about 2 minutes to assemble and unwind the line. Mine came with an instructional disc, but I refuse to look at directions, so I'm not sure of the quality. If you don't want to break the bank, don't have to beat the Jones's, and just want to have fun flying a kite, this one is highly recommended. I have no idea what the customer service is like as I have not had any issues with this kite in 3 years. Well worth the $20+ I spent on it.

I bought this kite so that I could have some fun on a planned day trip to bbq and enjoy the weather. When we got to the park I went to put the kit together and it took a little while to figure out how to do so as the instructions weren't helpful. Once we did get it assembled I went to use the string, but it was all wrapped up together! I had to unravel the ENTIRE kite string just so I could get to the handles. This is where it became a real nightmare as the kite string completely tangled up and I literally spent 6 hours trying to untangle it (I was determined to fly my damn kite). In the end we had to cut the string to get it completely unstuck and then I had two different lengths. The handles were impossible to use as you can't wrap the string anywhere like you should be able too. Once I got the kite in the air (had to wrap string around my hands to get it even), I just couldn't keep the kite up as it had no control because of the awful cloth handles.All in all, I guess I shouldn't have expected much more from such an inexpensive stunt kite. If you decide to purchase I would HIGHLY recommend buying separate kite string so that you can actually fly this thing.

I bought this kite for fun on the beach. It works fine and is a great beginner stunt kite.The only reason for not giving it 5 stars is the way the string winder works. It is designed so both left and right strings wind onto the same winder. This can lead to massive tangles.I have since bought 2 replacement standalong string winders (one for each side) and they work perfectly.

Everything is in the bag. I keep it in my car. I take it out, fly it for a while then back in the bag for next time. Note that you'll need someone to launch it for you, so it's a two person activity.

Fun to fly, it does take some practice but great in our Wyoming wind!

The media could not be loaded.  Veramente divertente con venti sufficientemente sostenuti. Facile da usare e pilotare anche per un bambino di 9 anni.Semplice da montare e smontare i materiali sebbene sembrino leggeri sono robusti e anche dopo parecchie "impicchiate" verso il terreno non subiscono alcun danno, che sarebbe comunque facile da riparare.

The kite is easy to set up, needs only a little wind to fly. It's a nice neat stunt kite and quite resilient when it comes crashing down. Highly recommended!
