SheaMoistureCoconut & Hibiscus Body Butter, 6 Ounce

I will never stop hunting for this body butter, why is it so hard to find??! I am about to write a concerned letter to the CEO because if this disappears I'm not going to be a happy lady! I found this 14+ years ago and NOTHING has compared as far as "clean" and "natural" products go. It used to say "Firming and Toning" on the front, and I have no idea why they changed that because it is one of the only natural products I've tried that acheives that for me. Maybe people were disappointed it didn't work literal miracles?! I am a 37yr old mama of 5 with Irish genetics, have lost 90+ lbs, and have very thin skin, wrinkly scars all over my whole belly, now crepey skin over the neck and face and thighs. I have VERY hard country water which is very drying, and that is disaster for thin fair skin. I put this EVERYWHERE (including neck and face after a pure rosehip oil serum) and wake up with supple, silky soft, SMOOTH feeling skin! It is totally non-greasy and leaves a delicious satin finish when it dries, my husband LOVES the feel and scent ;) Nothing this side of heaven is going to reverse age and life experience from your skin, but this stuff FEELS AMAZING and makes me feel more confident with my clothes off. If you dont like it send your bottle to me!!

This soaks in without leaving any oil residue, and it smells like flowers, not some stanky perfume.

The product seems old, the scent is not as it should be compared to one bought at store recently. It should be a light, fresh scent but instead smells of oil that has expired.

I already purchased  SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Body Wash & Deep Moisturizing Lotion  and loved it so much that I decided to purchase their body butter too. This lotion is absolutely divine scent-wise and moisturizers deeply.The fragrance is balanced yet intoxicating. To me the scent is lightly sweet and tropical I do not smell the coconut but instead detect a scent that is predominantly pineapple even though that is not an ingredient in this product. I normally do not like sweet smelling fragrances at all, but this one has a perfect balance.I would definitely purchase this again as the body butter is great for winter; not so much for summer due to the thickness of the moisturizer. On the negative side, it is difficult to squeeze the lotion out of the tube due to the tiny hole in the cap and the thickness of the product. I wish it came in a tub like the  Camille Beckman Glycerine Hand Therapy  product I love.

I have also reviewed this on their company website. I came across this coconut hibiscus body butter while browsing a CVS waiting for med pick up one day. I had an 18 month old daughter with terrible eczema and had tried over 30 products on her skin (I journaled them all, along with her food consumption, in an effort to figure out the causes). She is now 3 yrs old and I've been purchasing nothing but Shea Moisture Coconut and Hibiscus Body Butter for her skin ever since, and now I buy 3 at a time from Amazon when I need it as it beats the pharmacy price. When my daughter flares (rare now that we know her triggers), 4X daily application helps soothe her skin back to normal. Otherwise, she gets this after any contact with water, and about once per day. I sometimes use it on my hands when they are particularly dry. We love the light scent, how it rubs in all the way and isnt too greasy, how its not chock full of man made chemicals, and obviously how it works so well on our baby's inflamed skin.

I am all out of this product. I love this smell so much, you can pick it up from target but whenever I go it’s always gone so I order mine from Amazon

I think the lavender scent is more my scent, but I'll use this coconut hibiscus scented butter lotion, which reminds me more of a pina colada that is heavy on the sweet side. It has a very sweet, fruity candy smell. It also came out of the intact Amazon box unsealed. The seal in the opening was there, but someone had removed the foil tape seal halfway, stretched and punctured it a little and obviously, replaced it back. Hopefully, the person just wanted to test it out and not tamper with the product. It was a designated "add on item" Amazon promotion to get free shipping.. I may be foolhardy, so I decided to chance it and use it, and just trust Amazon on this one, because I don't want to hassle with returning it. I'll let you know if the skin on my hands fall off. Normally, if I was in a store, I wouldn't buy cosmetics, lotions or health products with the seal broken, especially for around $9. Well, actually, I wouldn't accept it seal brokened for free either out of health concerns. If a friend or family got it this way, I would say be cautious and return it, I gave 3 stars because I like the texture and feel of this topical butter brand more than others. Minus 2 stars for broken seal and the fruity sweet scent, I really have to use my imagination to smell the coconut.

I am closing in on 70 years old but (or so) taking care of myself is important to me. I have been looking for a replacement for my beloved but too expensive Korres body butter. I tried some great brands like Acure and Andalou....nice but not as moisturizing as Korres. I saw this on the Dominique Sachse YouTube site and decided to give it a try after reading the ingredients (LOTS of things like shea butter, coconut, hibiscus) and just a tiny amount of alcohol at the end of the list. (Some of the other Shea Moisture body products don't have this proportion of good/not good ingredients by the way). It arrived promptly and well packages, with the little foil seal over the opening intact, showing it was not a used item. I put it on after my shower and love the soft cloud of tropical scent around me. My skin also feels very soft but not greasy. I am happy I tried this and will continue to buy it. No, it is not Korres, but neither is the price.

I had high hopes for this lotion, but after using for about three weeks I must say I'm not impressed. It hydrates just ok, and the scent is very flowery, which bugs me. The worst part is the strange consistency -almost like curdle yogourt. It doesn't seep into the skin, but feels like it's just sitting on top. Not sure if I got a bad batch, but I can get much better lotions at the drug store for half the price. Won't be buying again.

I really love all the skin care products by this company, but this one was especially rich and creamy. All natural ingredients and the smell is soft and not at all overpowering.

Meine Frau hat sich die Body Butter auf Empfehlung einer US-Moderatorin bestellt. Die Konsistenz habe ihr sehr gut gefallen, die Butter an sich sei ein gutes Produkt. Der Duft sei allerdings Geschmackssache.
