Women's Wide Brim Sun Protection Straw Hat, Folable Floppy Hat,Summer, Beach Cap

I have other larger palm leaf hats for fishing and other purposes outside with 5" brims. I needed a more classic hat for outings, cookouts, and meetup in the warm to humid climates of the eastern sothern states. This fit the bill with looks and style. Palm is a durable material and I do not doubt this hat will provide years of use. Natural goo UV protection and tight weave block the rays from passing through even a little. The bands tassels are glued to the hat and do not move. While I initially didn't like that it is actually good I guess to keep kids or someone pulling on it. Fairly smooth feel to some of the other hats and no noticeable loose stings on mine. Full inner lining of silk look material, and same elastic band found on most of these hats made in Mexico if you have one already. Evenly toasted color and good fit for my 7 3/8, 53.7cm, 23 1/8" range head. Satisfied with the purchase and at the price it would be hard to beat.

I've had this hat for about three months and it seems very well made and durable. It is a bit heavy for a hat of this size and does not allow much ventilation, but I've found it to be comfortable as long as the temperature is below 90 degrees. I use a hat clip (basically a small cord with two alligator clips on the ends) to attach the back of the hat to my shirt collar on windy days since the hat does not come with a drawstring.

Great palm hat for the price. Pros: Light weight; good looking design, not stiff which means that you can mold it if you like. Cons: One size fits all? Well the band around the inner hat is elastic which gives a bit. Might seems a bit tight to larger head sizes. I wear a 7 1/2 so I cut a slit on each sides of the inner elastic band to give me a less pressure feel.

I have gotten multiple compliments on this hat. It's sturdy and should hold up to gentle use for years. The weave is tight and it looks well finished.

I like this hat a lot, nice big brim but not like a giant floppy brim. I wore it in the rain and it did not seem to affect it much. it does have a straw smell now, don't know if that's from getting wet or not. I kind of like it but the smell might be annoying to some people. decent headband on the inside, cotton and reasonably thick.

I wrote a long review but Amazon deleted it. I've wanted a gambler for years & finally decided to buy one for 4th of July this year. All in in its a 4.8/5 star hat. Gorgeous fits well (7 1/2 hat size myself), and worth the price. My only gripe was that I had to pull off a few stray strings of straw and a small bump of straw at the top of the hat. Also, if you look inside the hat and see a hidden. Glue mark, don't fret that's normal in hat making- that's not a problem at all (I included a photo of what I mean)

Fits nicely, cool, light, good shade for walking in sun. Only issue is that the hat is not quite deep enough to stay snug on my head. I can pull down to deal with this but then it pops up on top. But I like the hat a lot. A father's day gift from my wife.

Very nice hat. Bought for husband to wear in the garden. He said it is to nice to wear in the garden. I bought a Field and stream hat for him a year ago and it fell apart because it go wet in the rain 1 time. So I went with a different brand and was not disappointed. Highly recommend if you are looking for a nice quality hat.Was shipped in a bag and not a box but luckily arrived without being crushed.
