Aquagarden Pennington Aquagarden, Inpond & Awesome Pond UVC Replacement Lamp - 9 Watt , Fits the 600, 900 & 750 Gallon Models

Easy to install in my Pennington 600 pond filter. I suggest using silicone grease on the O rings and to dry out any condensation inside the glass sleeve before reassembling the filter.

The light that came with my filter lasted two years, and when it blew, my pond water started to become cloudy due to algae. I installed this replacement light, and within a week, the water started to become clear. I was really pleased with the results. I wasn't sure if it would work, and I definitely didn't expect it to work that fast.

I have two 600 gallon pumps that are a year old. The bulbs were still working and lighting up. However, I couldn’t beat the green water! I had read to replace the bulbs yearly. Within 3 days of replacing just one of the pump’s bulbs, there is already a huge difference. I ordered a second bulb after confirming that the first one fit and worked great.

It works, I hope lasts me at least 6 months and hope price was lower.

My old lamp burned out after about 14 months. Manufacture says you should replace once a year. I waited to long and my pond got green and yucky. Took about two weeks to clear up. The lamp killed the algae and the filters trapped the dead algae. This is what clogged the white filter and I had to clean it every couple of days. By the time the pond cleared, I could no longer get the white filter cleaned. That is when I purchased this replacement set.

Fit perfectly. Works great just as advertised and described.

This particular filter is too big for my shop vacuum.

My original bulb did not last the full year it was rated for so I installed a new bulb. Neither the original bulb or new bulb seem to have too much of an effect on algae growth, so I don’t think I will replace the bulb again.
