Lovely smooth coffee
I can't understand folk that buy a Lavazza Modo Mio coffee machine and then look for compatibles.Buying these on subscription brings the price per pod down and they are much nicer than compatibles. Lavazza pods are well made and do not leak or release grounds in the same way as cheaper alternatives.Lungo Dolce is my favourite as an all rounder. It can be enjoyed as an espresso, used in a latte or with a drop of milk as an americano.

Decent coffee - useless machine
I've said this before in other reviews. The coffee tastes fine, but the A Modo Mio machine is dreadful. I am on my second and it is already failing, with every other pod not being pierced and water overflowing into the pod collector and then onto the work surface. Very poor, and when this one finally gives up the ghost (which, given the lifespan of the previous one will be any day soon) I will find another manufacturer or go back to my old cafetiere. No reason to mark down the coffee though.
