The Rite Place: Kids Do Church! Adults Do Too!

This is an excellent book! We've attended the services that were part of the basis of this book and they have introduced us (and our especially our children) to a multi-generational, interactive church that blends the traditions that ground us and gather us and ritual that allows us all to take part in fellowship and sacredness. I can not recommend this book highly enough, especially churches that want to grow their congregation to more fully include young families.

When I was the Rector of Grace Church in Goochland, VA we used this book as the model for our Children's Service. Not only did the kids love it (and started insisting that their parents bring them to church) but a lot of adults began coming for the joyful music, the storytelling, and the fun way of including everyone! What was amazing was how much the children learned and retained about Scripture from this wonderful service!
