There can be only one! This chaintool is awesome. That is, it inspires awe. It can join tank tracks, repair suspension bridges, disassemble skyscrapers!Seriously, this is a serious piece of kit. The adjustable anvil means it can deal with any width chain, the large body and handle means it's easy to use and can exert enormous pressure with ease, with an adjustable stop for those stupid precision shimano chains. It has a spare pin, and this is the clever bit, comes with a cutout in the handle to extract the old one (right hand thread peoples!). The whole thing comes apart for easily for greasing/cleaning.I've given all my other chain tools (including a Park) away. That's how good it is.

I have dyspraxia, so I’m pretty clumsy! I also suffer from hyper mobility, so have very clicky joints. I struggle with painful wrists and have difficulty judging pressure. Anyway! I’d love to do more jobs on my bike but I’m pretty restricted. Chain splitters have in the past been a nightmare; fiddly and hard to grip, so I thought I’d give this a try.I’ve read some of the reviews relating to strength and longevity that could prove problematic. Hopefully not. I have just this minute used it and I’ve never found it so easy to remove a chain! I’m very, very pleased! Just hope it lasts. If it does it will be perfect.Great stuff.
