Works for my intended purpose
Bought to cover rubber gunstock that had become sticky. Works for its purpose but not as tight a fit as I was expecting.

Where's the gel ?
To be honest, the material wasn't too good. It tore shortly after install. I thought the pad had a gel cushion but there wasn't any. Sorry, Patrick D

Too thin to provide any recoil protection
Do not purchase this recoil pad. The description is misleading in that the "gel" portion is so thin that it is meaningless. You could easily receive the same benefit by sliding a thick sock over your gun stock.

Well constructed. Was easy to adjust (cut) to fit rifle.

Not sure about the gel???
The recoil pad is just a neoprene sock that covers the end of the buttstock. It fits well on AR type stocks. However, there is no gel to speak of. Not sure if mine is defective but thats all I recieved.

Great product for the price.
It did fit great on my Magpull stock. Also It did minimize the recoil effect I would say by 20%. I used this product for an AR10 with .308 cal. I have a broken shoulder, so this product definitely helped.
