The taste is a powdery watered down caramel , if you’re looking for really chewy caramel these are not it. The candy has a very crumbling chewy texture but I’m sure it’s because the ingredients effect that. Overall good candy, not what I was expecting but not totally disappointed. Won’t order again but would recommend if you like fluffy candy.

I know how the item is supposed to be. I purchased two double packs and got old rocks. This candy is supposed to be chewy. This sucks because I can not get my money back. I’m 100% pissed off.

I need to control myself. I eat more pieces every day than I planned. These all natural chewy caramels are so good. I'm reminded of sugar babies without the shell (but not as sugary) and cow tales because of the vanilla taste. I started by purchasing one bag and I've been buying 'em ever since.Expiration date is always good. The two bags that arrived this week: Best by 8/17/16Ingredients: Brown Rice Syrup, Sweetened Condensed Whole Milk (rBST Free Milk), Sugar, Butter, Dried Cane Juice, Molasses, Vanilla and Sunflower LecithinI read that rBST is a hormone that is naturally occurring in female dairy cows and it is completely safe. If a label states rBST Free, it's saying that the cows that gave this milk were not treated with rBST injections/supplements.

I bought these based on the rave reviews. I make caramels myself but was feeling lazy ( they are a lot of work) so I thought I'd try these. They seem fresh and have good consistency. Unfortunately for me they lack that great buttery/creaminess I associate with a home made caramel. The #1 ingedient is brown rice syrup which I believe impacts the flavor. I appreciate the effort but these are not what I was looking for. I won't buy again.

OMG, are these good!I ordered them only because every other choice was a much bigger size, but Heaven's to Betsy, are these ever yummy! Someone else wrote that they are like salt-water taffy, and yes, they are more like taffy compared to Kraft's caramels, but in a good way.

I expected these to be extra good but they're really not all that amazing. They taste like the brown and white caramel candies you find during the holidays. They weren't bad, there's just nothing special about them.

These caramels are delicious and gluten free. Found these first on shelf at Whole Foods, but then difficult to find. Thank you for carrying these caramels.

I love that these candies are consciously crafted and non-gmo. They have a rich creamy flavor, with a perfect balance of sweetness with a touch of salt. The only thing that could be improved is the texture. They are slightly mealy and grainy, I would love them if they had a smoother, more gelatinous texture.
