It gets the job done, but have to check to make sure that the mechanism disengages by turning the key back and forth a few times.

I love that they offer this cap for my Fiat. It freaks me out to have a gas door or cap that doesn't lock. I think fiat needs to change this, but until then, I'm glad I found this on Amazon.I gave it 4 stars because it's a little tricky getting the cap off. Either way, I am thankful that it gives me piece of mind.

Gas is expensive. This my not entirely prevent people from stealing gas from my car when it’s unattended. But it should slow them down.

My check engine light came on and the diagnostic code started "Gas Cap faulty."I ordered this "genuine Fiat part" thinking it would resolve the issue but it didn't! It's a good sturdy locking gas cap....

It fits snugly on the 500 gas intake pipe and locks in place. It takes a bit of getting use to because, after locking it with the key, you rotate it to the right to set the mechanism. Once that is done it stays in place. If you rotate left first, it is not locked in place.

I needed a locking cap since the gas cap is accessible to anyone. I don't have to worry about anyone stealing my gas or contaminating my gas tank when I park in unfamiliar places.The cap works well, no hassle installing it.

This does an excellent job at keeping the darn neighbor hoodlums away from my tank of gas. I refuse to move out of my ghetto hood. I was here before it was the armpit of hell. I aint leaving. This thing has given me the confidence to stand my ground. My only concern is that it's hard to get the key in when im trying to fill up. I guess it's a good thing that it's even hard for the person with the key to break into it.

Works great as a replacement gas cap for my 2018 Challenger. No check engine lights, key lock works great. Let's be honest, if someone wants to break it to steal your gas, it wouldn't be hard, but it deters a theif.
