Preliminary Rating - Hope to Update After More Experience . . .
Ok, so I'm doing this rating now because Amazon keeps reminding me, but I really want some more experience with this cover before giving my final opinion. Some preliminary thoughts are: 1) Great choice of materials: You can't really beat Tyvek for this application, 2) Good fit: The cover fits pretty good except for the antenna slit which I do not want or need for my 500C cloth top application, 3) A bit pricey: It may be just a tad overpriced compared to some custom-fit FIAT full covers available for around $100, and 4) Bad choice of words: Read my last thought at the end of this review concerning my sensitivity as a customer to the language in the package insert.I bought this for my garage-kept (driven ONLY in fair weather, 500C cabrio/convertible) to protect the top from the elements whenever I have to leave it outside for more than a couple hours. In the spring we get significant yellow pollen coating everything to the point after an hour or so outside, you can write your name in the pollen on the windshield - I didn't want that pollen getting into the fibers of my top. I also want to protect the top from prolonged UV exposure (summer) - haven't gotten there yet either. I did not want to "wrestle" with a full cover for either of these applications.I just got this "coverlet" a few weeks ago & my car has been inside out of the snow & ice since receiving it. However, I did "try it on" a couple times to see how it fit & how "easy" it was to install & roll back up, in addition to carefully examining the materials & workmanship. For me, the elements of spring & summer will be the real test for this item.A few thoughts:1) Understandably, the "coverlet" has a slit for the antenna (for the non-cabrio FIAT 500). Since my cabrio does not have a roof-mounted antenna I do NOT want that slit letting rain in so I will be looking for a way to close that slit. (I will either be taping it somehow, or asking a friend with a commercial sewing machine to stitch it shut.) I just don't want rain getting in and pooling under the cover in the area of the slit - I want the top to remain dry when using the cover.2) I'm also hoping the movement of the cover from the wind does not mar or "scuff" the paint in any way. My only similar experience is a garage-kept custom painted golf cart with a cover that has marred / scuffed the paint from brief periods in the wind where the cover blows back & forth causing minor "scuffs" in the paint surface.3) This may be a little picky but as a customer I took offense to the wording of the package insert which contained a message from a John Allen, Owner. (I noticed other reviewers of other CA Pop Top products had negative comments about emails or phone conversations with "the owner" of CA Pop Top.) The insert starts out saying: "The biggest mistake new users make...", with the words BIGGEST MISTAKE underlined. It then goes on to tell how customers fail to properly install the coverlet. As a customer I would have a much more warm & fuzzy feeling if the insert said something along the lines of: "To get the best fit, please take care to...." I'd much rather hear how to do something correctly in order to obtain maximum fit and/or benefit from the product, as opposed to what mistakes I'm making. I admit this is slightly "picky" (this did not impact my "star" rating above) but the wording was just bothersome enough that I was offended as a customer.Hopefully, I'll find time to update this review after more foul-weather experience with the cover.

Best car outerwear...ever!
So far, very good. Looks great from the front. From behind, its a bit "old fashioned undergarment) looking. My neighbor was like..."hey 🙋 your car is wearing underwear." So, if your neighbor is not a d*ck, this shouldn't be a problem. Snug fit. Easy to put in and take off. Stayed on during some major winds. The cord used to tighten the cover back at the trunk is way long. Why? The lines that is used to tie the cover to the door handles are totally important, but almost not long enough.Overall, an excellent buy. Perfect cause I thought it was plain stupid to spend hundreds on an "official" cover. Here to not being stupid!

Buyers beware
It looked like the blue tarp only in white. It had no sun protection

Good product!
Fits pretty good, but not as solid around the mirrors as I would like. Good product though!

Best thing next to a shade tree in FL
Long sunny days are brutal for a black Abarth with black leather. It works just like it says. You'll be amazed how this lightweight cover keeps the temperature from getting out of control in your car. The cover was cut to fit my Fiat as advertised. Fits nice and snug and holds up to gusty winds. Watch the video from the website on how to install this. It helps especially the uninstall part. Otherwise you won't figure out how it wraps up inside itself in a nice neat package.

Fits perfectly my Fiat 500
This is a perfect cover to protect your Fiat 500, and I am so happy with this purchase! I also received an extra adhesive patch (with exceptionally speedy dispatch) to cover the antenna slit as my Fiat 500 Abarth Cabrio doesn't have it. The weather in NYC has recently been quite weird: we had (interchangeably) rain, snow, very cold and warm days. The outcome of using the California PopTop: no leaks, quick and speed assembly, no headache with tickets (as you cannot cover your license plates in NY state). The material has super quality and is waterproof. And above all, it fits so well my car. Exceptionally pleased! Thank you.

So far So good.
Easy to put on. Keeps the car cool as they said. If they hold up with no tears or signs of ripping good product.

Really reduces heat in passenger compartment on hot days.
Once the car is covered it's easily 10-15 degrees cooler inside when you uncover it on a hot day. No more burning your hands on the steering wheel before you get rolling. It fits our Fiat 500 perfectly.
