'The' Tubular Glue to use
I recently acquired a used carbon tubular wheelset, and it was my first foray into tubular wheels (or carbon wheels for that matter). So I had to make sure that I glued my tubies right with the best glue. After days of research, Mastik One is the only option. Many will say Conti, or Tufo tape, etc... also works, but nobody will ever question that Mastik One works on everything. After using my hairdryer and a butter knife to scrape off the old contaminated glue, and then finishing it off with an acetone wipe my lightly used wheelset was ready for gluing. Again, researching on the best gluing method was a pain, but I've resorted to doing the following by "combining" what I thought were the best procedures I've read from countless websites/youtube videos:1) Electrical tape on the braking surface (I use 3M Super 33+)2) One layer of glue (using an acid brush) on the wheel, one layer of glue on the tubular tire, let both dry 24 hours3) Second layer of glue (using a new acid brush) on the wheel, let dry 24 hours4) Third layer of glue (using another new acid brush) on the wheel, let dry for 5 mins, and mount the tire, center and inflate.5) Remove electrical tape from braking surface6) Let glue cure for 24 hours before riding, 48 hours if cold (i.e.: winter). Thus far, my first gluing job looks excellent and the electrical tape saved me the hassle of cleaning the braking surface. It's been about 2 weeks now and I've been riding my cyclocross bike like a madman. The tire still is secure and sound, and I've checked after every ride to see if there's any spots where the bond was weakening by lightly trying to "roll" the tire. I am now confident after 5 rides that the tire is glued on and is there to stay. I'm no longer fearful of my first gluing job had gone awry due to inexperience and the jump to tubulars was much easier than I had initially imagined (clincher rider all my life).I bought the can, and I have a feeling this can will last me several years if not a decade. The glue itself is a green/brownish and translucent so you can clearly see where you have applied enough glue. In the end, I am glad I bought the "gold standard" in tubular glue, because honestly, the bond is incredibly secure even on sharp corners on gravel.

Perfect tubular glue for all rim materials
I've been gluing tubulars for 30 years and found that this glue does everything well. You don't need to worry about getting a glue specific for carbon rims, as this has plenty of adhesion. The working time to get the tire on the rim is good and once the glue dries, it forms the right amount of stick to hold the tires securely. When the tires need replacing, it is not impossible to remove them and a little acetone cleans/removes any unwanted residue.

Four Stars
Better then dealing with little individual tubes.

Mastic 1 is the best.
Mastic 1 goes on well and holds like iron.

Use no other glue
This is the stuff! Whether your rims are aluminum or carbon, Vittoria Mastik is the glue to use. I've done a 3000 foot decent and the glue held up well even with my carbon fiber rims. Oh yeah, the rims were hot.I've used other glues (ya know, the one in the black tube). It set up too fast and didn't do very good job of gluing the tubular to the rim. Cleaning the old glue off the rim was a disaster. Took nearly a day. I was very happy to switch back to Vittoria Mastik. Highly recommended.

this is the best for sticky glue but try to get it off ...
Yeah, this is the best for sticky glue but try to get it off your rim and you'll wish you bought the Continental version.I have never had a tubular come off, can't imagine it could.Try to peel a tire off that was glued with this and you'll know what I mean. Your fingers will be sore for a couple of days.I was able to soften the glue with Goo Off... a LOT of it, and it eventually got the rim clean, but it is 100x easier to clean the Continental glue off a rim.So I give this product a 5 for stickiness but a 1 for removabilit for an average of 3.

Great value, Fast shipping!
First time gluing tubies and I wanted the best glue. I did use these with Vittoria Corsa's, but I'm not sure if keeping brands the same makes any difference. I haven't rolled any tires during my crits, yet, tho. Good value, fast shipping, no problems!

Good Glue
Nice but too bad it doesn't includes a brush to apply the glue. I have seen some bike shop use a glue can that have a glue brush attached to the cover. I purchased a silicon brush(Bench dog) to apply the glue and it worked really well. It was very easy to remove the glue off the brush after the glue had dried. My tubular tire had not came off yet.
