This is a very cute, little, contemporary Steiff. I am a collector of the vintage Steiffs from the 1950's to 1960's, but when I saw Piff, I knew I had to have him for my collection. No, he does not look like a real mouse and he's no where near the actual size of a mouse. He's very well made and adorable. (You'll see him on eBay for a lot more. Amazon was a much better bargain.) I just might have to buy the little white version to keep him company!

Starting a Steiff collection for my little girl. These little mice are cute and a good starting point. Quality is there for sure. I now have this one and the white mouse. Small in size but it adds to the charm and realism of it.

Perfect for what I wanted. Only small disappointment in that Steiff makes their signature eye tags now out of plastic - I hadn't bought one in a long time and was expecting fabric - guess that's the way it goes now
