Pre-Pimer books are good for parents to read to their toddlers up through kindergarten and beyond where kids become profecient enough to read it to mom and dad.When your child can read and understand the PP level on their own, a parent needs to begin purchasing level 1/first grade level books to read to their child. Following suite, when the child can read and understand level one books on their own, parents progressively move to the next level.Don't put away the books they have mastered...put them in your home library so they can choose it to read again. The more the times a kiddo reads a book, the better they understand and this is what promotes reading!Finally, the books are fun to read, not boring. A majority of the stories come from award winning children's book authors and illustrators.

We love the Biscuit Series and this book came at a very timely moment - the start of preschool for my youngest granddaughter. She loves dogs, Biscuit in particular, and this book did not disappoint. The pictures and story provided some good discussion about what school is like and what she might expect at her new school.

I bought this for my 4 yr old grandson who was starting kindergarten. He loves this book and reads it himself now. Try all the Biscuit books for your little one. They are very cute books.

Wasn't as good as the original Biscuit book, but it's still a good story book and little one still enjoys it. It's a good story and easy to follow for my little one.

I have a 3 year old Granddaughter and I have been reading these books about Biscuit and his adventures to her. She loves for me to read to her.

Purchased and sent several first readers for my 5 yo granddaughter and she loves the Biscuit series. Easy for her to read to us on FaceTime during our "stay at home" and the illustrations are sweet too.
