Good alternative for moderately dirty dishes
This dish soap is pretty good. It smells nice, and I like the peace of mind that it leaves fewer chemicals on my dishes. It doesn't bubble/suds as well as your regular dish soap (Dawn), and it doesn't work quite as well on the really tough greases and stuck on food. But, for an everyday dish soap to use on dishes that are just regular dirty, I think it's totally sufficient. I have Dawn on hand for when I need something more powerful, but if I can keep chemicals off my dishes most of the time, I'm pretty happy with that.

Great option for environmentally-minded and/or allergic consumers
I am allergic to a preservative commonly used in many household cleaning products, including dishwashing liquid. Because it is a substance that does not need to revealed in the MSDS for non-personal products, finding a product that is truly free of it can be a very involved process. Eco-Me was one of the few companies I found that didn't use it in any of their products; additionally, although some of the categories can be a little non-specific (e.g., "essential oils"), the ingredient list is far more informative and complete than it is for typical dishwashing detergents (when they have an ingredient list at all). Enough of all that, you're thinking - does it WORK? Yes, it works really well! It produces a nice level of suds and cuts grease well. It also smells nice and is very easy on the hands.

Cuts grease and is gentle on hands.
We have been switching out our commercial household products for less toxic, more natural ones. I was nervous about switching out our dish soap, as I wanted to make sure we used something that does a great job on grease. I didn't need to be worried. This product cuts through grease quite well, and I didn't feel I needed to use too much more product than the average commercial dish soap. I also tried washing the dishes without gloves just to see the effect on my hands. What do you know- instead of being overly dry when I was done, my hands were actually nice and soft. This dish soap is a winner!

Overall good performance
Scent is ok, not quite what I expected but ok. Works pretty well, greasy items need to use alot of soap to get clean but overall I think it's worth using more for the safety for my family. Works better than I expected really. Will buy again, will try different scent though.

and some of them are pretty useless. This one is not bad
I have tried several eco-friendly dish soaps over the years, and some of them are pretty useless. This one is not bad. It cuts through grease pretty well, but it seems like you need to use a bit more of it than you would if you were using Dawn (or some other not so friendly detergent). I am not a huge fan of this citrus berry scent, it's a little too sweet/cloying to me, but you stop noticing it after a while. It's worth a test run anyway.

Strong smell
Has a strong smell which I didn't expect. Doesn't need much to make suds thankfully. However the bottle is very small. I am still getting used to not using much to wash dishes, it will become expensive in the long run. Thankfully the citrus smell doesn't stay on the dishes. However for oily and greasy dishes you do need more in order to get the dishes cleaned.

Really worth it
Been trying to change over from the dangerous chemicals in the house to safer ones and I saw that this one got a good rating on EWG's website. So I decided to give it a shot and it works good. It really cleans my dishes and I thought it wouldn't create a lot of soapy suds, but overall it does. I feel really comfortable using this knowing that it is a lot safer than Palmolive and that it also gets the job done. Very proud of this product and definitely recommend for others to give it a shot.

it's soap but natural/over chemicalized which is nice if you're health concious
you never know what is in these J&J products or where they are made, so for a few bucks more you know you have something natural.we used this for the first few years of our daughters life who had sensitive skin and were very pleased with the product.would recommend for the price!
