If you have a normal 7'' wrist, then a lot of excess will hang down the back. I was hoping to use for charms but 2'' of chain is too much to add and not many charms fit on that small of chain. If there was a way to have this piece half the length it is now, then I could add more chain between the ends, have more charms and STILL have it adjustable.

If you make bracelets that have more than one central stone, these will be too long. They work great, but when you tighten them they have a long tail that hangs down and drags in food, and gets caught in things. Solidly made.

I am very happy with this product and am here to order more! I make chainmail jewelry but I tend to avoid bracelets because I can't ever decide how long I should make them and this basically eliminates that problem.I ordered these hoping I could adjust the length--by which I mean actually making the chains shorter, not just by sliding the bead. And that did turn out to be easy to do! You don't *need* to do it, but unless you just add a couple of beads, you're going to end up with really long chains dangling from your wrist and I didn't want them to hang that long. It was easy to cut the chains shorter with basic wire cutters and then I used a 22 gauge steel ring through the new ends of the chain to connect to my bracelet.I will definitely be using these a lot in the future!

They were too long, I had to shorten them by 1" on each side.

These stainless steel bracelet strands are a very good colour. They are not dull gray. They have a little bit of shine to them.Excellent for the bracelets I like to make. I prefer Stainless Steel since so many people are sensitive to nickel, zinc & cadmium. The finish will not tarnish like sterling silver or rub off like sterling silver silver plated jewelry. I would definitely order these again.

One in each package, the slider didn’t work. When you slide the chain the rubber would dislodge from the bead. Even when getting the rubber in place it would do it each time you tried to slide it. You’re best to make sure you have some extra slider beads on hand.
