I have been making mustard for several years; wanted to try "authentic" Dijon mustard which calls for verjus. I was taken by surprise at it's sweetness! Not at all suitable for mustard making, imho ...

I am unable to drink due to health issues. I recently had a drink made with Verjus at an upscale restaurant and I really liked the drink! I was unable to find the product locally so I ordered it from Amazon and paid $25 for one bottle.I have since found the same product on another site for $14.99 per bottle. If you order 4 bottles you get free shipping and no tax is charged. So instead of 1 bottle for $25 I was able to get 4 for $59.99.The product is great, just overpriced from this source.

I’ve never had this, but was curious. The whole family loved the taste, including a 3 year old. We experimented a lot with our bottle. It’s slightly tart and very refreshing over ice and also with Campari. We used it to cook mushrooms where I might have used wine or lemon. My only caveat is that I can’t find information about filtering, so this may not be vegan/vegetarian.

I hesitate to assign too many or too few stars to this product. It arrived timely, as advertised. I've never tasted verjus before, so perhaps my surprise at receiving this is simply because I didn't know what to expect. But based on everything I read, I expected something a lot more sour. This verjus is tasty, but is sweet enough and tastes enough like normal grape juice (not quite the same, but close) that I could drink it straight. This was very surprising, and will affect where I choose to use it in my cooking.

This is a delicious product. However, whoever sells it doesn't know how to package it, at all. It's insane. These were in a lightweight USPS mailer, with minimal bubble wrap. What a frost.

Having a histamine intolerance I am using the verjus as a substitute for vinegar.It tastes absolutely great and I don't have any histamine induced problems with it.

I've been using this Verjus to make It's Alive With Brad's mustard. Works very well, and I enjoy drinking what I don't use for mustard. That said...whoever is packaging this needs to rethink things. My first bottle came in a box and was fine. They've recently been shipping it in a bag. My last two bottles came damaged. One to the point where it leaked all over everything.
