I cannot definitely speak to how it would work under carpets since I did not use it for that, but I suspect it would work well enough for that. I put a sheet of this non-stick felt pad in between two (stacked) small, but stable, wooden bookcases. This product works great. It was easy to cut and thin enough so that it is not visible. (Being dark gray also helps with that.) The product came quickly.

I’ve tried so many rug keepers and most haven’t worked, or wear out quickly, so based on the reviews, I bought one of these to test with a 6 x 9 flat wool dhurrie on LVP. It provides a bit of cushioning but most importantly, it keeps the rug in place. Now my dog can play fetch without sending all the rugs flying. I will buy more of these.

Was surprised it actually held bathroom rug in place on smooth tile floor. Will not hold edge of rug down so will need to pick up your feet when stepping onto rug.

these pads work as described. The vaccum does not put them up, and no one trips over rug. I am happy with purchase.

I just needed something thin under a doormat to protect my hardwood floor. This was perfect, easy to cut to size and good value for the cost.

Found this after my husband slipped on a mat that had a regular rubber pad. Finally, an actual rug pad that works! I’ll forever buy these. I used mine for a front door mat and runner that had a felt pad that still slipped so using them together and it’s staying place.

These are great…Don’t place a damp rug on top…it then becomes more slippery than ice…even if you know it’s wet it will put you to the floor.I fell warned someone else and watched them slip and fall.Very good until it gets wet then a complete failure.

I had a carpet that always slipped underneath your feet when you walked across it quickly, which is a safety hazard. I threw down one of these non-slip maps, and I can literally take a running start and jump onto the carpet and it doesn't move.I also checked after a week underneath the pad and the hardwood floor, and no marks left.

I needed to replace our old pad as it had lost it's stickum. The size of this gives me options for the rugs in front of our patio door. We have a long haired cat who drags in all kinds of vegetable matter & are in & out mulitple times during 3 seasons of the year. Winter not so much! This stays in place & I can fold it out for larger rugs. I found it a bit pricey but hey what isn't these days? I do recommend.

As advertised and works great under my carpet. Thin enough to lift the carpet but hold in place. Adds a teeny amount of cushion as well.

Everything the reviews said about this product was accurate. These anti slip felt pads are easily the best I have bought. They are sturdy, they grip well without leaving a residue on the floors and the rugs don't move at all. They have been perfect for my 14 year old dog who has mobility problems. She can lie on any rug and they don't move when she moves. That safety for my dog is so important.
