Heard a high pitched noise and traced it to under the sink in the master bath. Had forgotten about the flood buzz! A very small, intermittent drip. Nothing ruined that was stored there because we found it so quickly. Highly recommended.

These things definitely tell ya if you have water. They work very simply by the 2 metal prongs on the bottom of them, if there is water touching those prongs, they beep and they don't stop until you physically pick them up and remove them from the water (or I guess if the battery runs out, but we haven't had that problem yet.) On 5 occasions now, these things have told us immediately that there was water and saved us from having a massive cleanup. It doesn't take much water at all either, we put them directly on the concrete floor in the utility closet and the moment there was any water, they started sounding, so you don't need to wait until there is a catastrophe amount of water (even a quarter inch of water is a lot, so I like that these basically go off with even the smallest trickle of water.) They are not very loud though, that is my only complaint. We have these in the basement, and if we are upstairs in our bedroom (just one floor above) with our door closed, we cannot hear it going off. We can hear it slightly with the door open though, so I wish that they were just slightly louder. Also, these are very basic, you cannot sync them to an app on your phone or anything, so if there is water when you aren't home, these won't tell you that. Overall, for the cost, these were DEFINITELY worth it!

The media could not be loaded. So simple to use. Every household needs to have this excellent detector. It is small so it easily fit into tiny spaces. The alarm is loud and high pitched. You can’t miss it even when the cabinet doors are closed.

I bought these to replace the same brand & model of leak alarms that had expired. We had a very mall leak under the kitchen sink last year, & this detector made a loud-enough signal that even I, with poor hearing, was able to hear it from the next room. Their small size allows us to put them in tight spots such as behind toilets & next to the washing machine. The price is right & it does the job!

New kitchen sink installed and this little gadget saved the day when the sink started leaking. I wasn’t home at the time, but the moment I walked in the front door, I could hear its alarm even though it was down the hall, behind the closed doors of the sink’s cabinet! I purchased an additional set for bathroom sinks, water heater area, laundry room. I will not be without these in my home ever again! Just like smoke detectors, they can save a lot of damage, frustration and money! Highly recommend!

I’m not sure I will be able to hear the alarm on the main level for the one placed in the basement.

I tested the 6 units individually by standing each in a minimal layer of water on a flat bathroom sink, and all worked very well! These are very easy to use as it's a place and forget application. I did set a calendar reminder to re-check them every few months.The only negative here is that the product must have been in storage for about a year before it was shipped as the 'replace' date stamped on each unit is for just 25 months from receive date, whereas the product is rated to be good for 36 months.Nevertheless, I have peace of mind having placed these redundantly by dishwasher, fridge, and washing machine.

Probably like many buyers I purchased these after a water event. Our laundry room sink overflowed after the water was left on for about 20-30 minutes. Water flowed into a hallway which had a manufactured hardwood floor. We were able to clean if up quickly and after a week drying by the restoration company the floor was not damaged. We got lucky. Made me wonder why laundry rooms do not have floor drains.Anyway, a few days after placing the buzz detector my wife heard a high pitch squeal. We traced it back to the laundry room. The drain was leaking into the cupboard. We would never have picked it up without the warning.A good idea. Everyone should have something like this. I now have them in every bathroom as well as the laundry room and kitchen.

It works well, my freezer was leaking and I was immediately alerted to the problem. This is my second purchase or these leak alarms, they are a must to alert of water leaking.

When I first bought the Buzz alarms I thought maybe they wouldn't work so well. Well I sure was surprised to find out it does work and well. The alarm sound is good, it warned me of a flood (actually a puddle) in my basement from heavy rains. Will buy this alarm again.

These will save you a lot of major water problems. I’ve had the bigger ones but I couldn’t get them under my dishwasher which is a huge problem if it starts to leak.I placed them anywhere you have a chance ofa water leak and because you get so many for a good price.
