This is the best incense! It is very feminine and calming. I light one daily for peaceful environment

...... this will be a disappointment to you. At first I though my next door neighbor was using awful dryer sheets in the laundry but soon realized that it was this "sandalwood" incense that was emitting a strong perfume scent. After opening all the windows and doors, the odor lingered. So, if you normally find comfort in the soothing benefits of natural fragrances, you will probably find this offensive.

I feel terrible writing a crappy review about a product made by little Nepalese ladies in the mountains somewhere ... but this batch of rope incense smells like burnt paper. Basically, it is paper. And yes, my fire alarm really did go off. Maybe it was just a badly made batch though?

This incense smells so great! I don’t normally like incense as it can be overpowering and oftentimes musky! This is a delightful smell that is cozy and makes me think of cool fall days and bonfires!

Smells like you are burning wood. No scent at all.

I want to love these incense ropes. I like that they were made by Buddhist monks in Nepal. I like the rope design of them. But I can't get past the fact that they simply don't produce much of an aroma. I don't want to be overwhelmed by an overly strong smell of incense, but the point of incense it that it creates a noticeable aroma, right? You either just want that smell around you, or you're trying to cover up another, less enjoyable smell. And these just don't generate much mojo in the smell department. It's hard for me to see the point of using them.
