KONUS

Bought this scope thinking it would be a perfect fit for my Ruger American Ranch in 7.62x39 and was not disappointed. Found the optics to be surprisingly clear even in late evening conditions. I'm used to Nikon scopes and this one gives them a run for their money. I LOVE the reticle. The diamond really helps me stay centered and the inner crosshairs are very fine. The fact that they're etched into the glass makes it that much better. I've had 2 similar priced scopes where the reticle broke and fell over but this scope is designed to handle serious recoil. I wanted a low powered scope for this caliber and I originally tried a Redfield 2x7 that I had laying around was not satisfied with my groups. It seemed like the parallax was messing with me really bad at different distances so I tried this one on a whim and at nearly $100 cheaper and only 5x magnification my 100 yard groups were cut in half and I was able to consistently get 1 inch groups if not better. I really think the reticle was the deciding factor. Another thing I love about this scope was the very noticeable clicks on the adjustment turrets. No mushyness whatsoever and it tracked perfectly when I was getting it zeroed in. I can't tell you how many scopes I've had that cost more but the turrets were so spongy you weren't sure if you made the right number of clicks or not. I probably shot 60 rounds or so after getting this thing dialed in and so far it's held zero no problem which is not surprising considering the recoil of 7.62x39 is much less than what the scope was designed to handle. I see no reason why it shouldn't be rock solid for my needs. The power is perfect for that caliber too and on the low setting everything up close is clear with a good field of view for fast shooting or I can dial it up and put it right where I want at 100 yards. I had never heard of Konus before but I will be buying another one of these in the near future. I just have nothing to complain about at this price point. Well done.

I used to work for Leupold. So I know optics. This scope is bright and clear with great depth and light transmission. Adjustments are precise as well. For the price (under $80) it is amazing quality. Konus seems to have upped their game lately. I had several a few years ago, and they were good. Now they are knocking on "terrific".Edited - Last weekend I swapped this scope out on a TC inline blackpowder rifle. It had previously worn a Redfield 3x9-40 scope. That one went onto a 1903 Springfield sporter. Upon zeroing the two rifles my shooting buddy and I noticed that the clarity and depth of the Konus Pro seemed to equal that Redfield. The Redfield is made by Leupold and seems to be about the same as a Leupold Rifleman or VX-1. This was amazing performance from a scope that cost less than half the price of the Redfield. If you don't mind a Chinese made scope on your rifle, then you can do much worse than a Konus in my experience. The early ones had odd looking shadows on the reticles. These new ones are much improved and very defined. I will keep this review in mind after shooting it some more and will update it if the Konus Pro fails somehow. But for now I highly recommend it if you are on a budget especially - or if like me you are just "frugal" lol!

Really nice scope, was very impressed. Very clear, and diamond reticle is just awesome. Wish all my scopes had that feature. Holds zero nicely on gu. Awesome product.

Holds zero on a older cva magbolt muzzleloader perfectly. Overall its clear and does its intended job. If you need a decent short to mid range scope this will work great for you.

Got this scope put it on my Ruger PC 9mm carbine. Used a red laser to sight it in. Took it to 100yds. Ist 3 shots were bulls. 3 dif shooters all could hit the Bull at 100 yds 90% of the time. This is a very clear, accurate sight and holds 0 well.RTZ

I finally got around to mounting this scope on my .44 lever action rifle and after 12 rounds, the crosshairs had rotated about 15 degrees to the left. Might be ok for a pellet gun but I wouldn't trust it on anything else.

This is a so so scope for the price. You are better off buying a bushnell banner as the glass is way better.Good thing is the size and the reticle.
