Touch of Nature 23023 Feather Butterfly, 6-Inch, Orange/Black

Purchased these to make Effie Trinket's (Hunger Games) butterfly dress for Halloween. They looked great. I used them along with similar but lighter orange-colored butterflies from Michaels.The butterflies are a pretty deep orange hue and a good size. I was able to bend the wings slightly to glue the body (plastic) onto my cotton outfit. I did break a couple of wings when I bent them too much. I also used fabric markers to add some color variation for even more visual interest. I was happy with the quality and color.

Like another customer, I also bought this butterfly to attach to a want to pay with my cat. The butterfly arrived with the wings barely holding on. Once I attached it to the wand and waved it around a few times, one half fell off, without the cat's involvement. A few minutes later, my cat ripped off the other half. The clip helps to "reatach" one of the wings so we can continue playing. My cat really likes butterflies. He's a romantic, I guess. The price point for something so flimsy it's way too high. But I'm ok with it for a one time purchase as a test to see if my cat will play with it. We're both satisfied, but I won't be getting a single butterfly again.

Item came in broken and the wing span is not 6". I am keeping it because I am making due I planned on taking it apart anyway. Just letting anyone who wants it intact to order with caution.

Bright color and the size was perfect. True to description. My original order was lost but amazon helped me right away and now I have my butterfly!

The picture used to sell these does not show cheap cardboard cutouts. They are supposed to have texture and be made of something else. I ordered different sizes from multiple listings and one set showed up correctly and these did not. Very dissatisfied.

Ordered two for school pictures... we, as teachers, can dress up so we did! And these butterflies were perfect. Large enough to be visible in the photos. One clip was barely attached but I made do. Colors were perfect.

Very pretty. It looks just like the photo, though it is delicate. I re-positioned the wings by bending them and then hot gluing them to stay in the new bent position. They included a long wire on the bottom to attach it to stuff. I bent the wire into a hook and attached the butterfly to some faux ivy that is laid around the top of a lovely mirror that is above the dresser in my bedroom :)

one of the butterflies was broken, both wings were off, I tried gluing them back on but after paying $5.49 cents for each of them, I would like a replacement....the wings are not going to stay on.

Pero no vale el precio.Lo compré en rebaja y me llegó en una caja de Amazon y dentro de la caja una bolsa de celofán con la mariposa dentro.Son plumas de ave naranja cond detalles pintados con pintura inflable blanco y negro. Unidas a un pedazo de unicel pintado de negro con 2 antenas de alambre Delgado.Lo peor un ala ya desprendida.Es una gran idea pero mal ejecutada, mal empacada por parte del vendedor.Pero excelentemente manejada por Amazon.

I received this product first of all soo late and it was for a photoshoot all of the butterflies are broken in half. I’m not sure if it was in the packaging but y’all have got to do Bette terrible overall.

I get that it is cheap but It doesn’t look as good as the picture and the wings were broken and not flexible.
