Don't Fear The Soy
I've tried various protein powders over the years and have recently been comparing and contrastingseveral very different types including: Naked Seed (from the people who make Naked Whey and Naked Rice), Sprouted Brown Rice Protein, High-Fiber Hemp Protein, Fermented Pea Protein, and Grass-Fed Whey Protein Concentrate.I began to question my prior pick, Sprouted Brown Rice Protein, due to the bitter flavors in the powder. As far as I'm aware this is a leftover concentration from the fermentation process which is actually healthful, but it was a bit oft-putting and I thought maybe I had a mild reaction. It could be psychological and from the flavor, however.Of all the proteins, this Soy protein is by far the most neutral. It is VERY clean and pure to all my senses. This makes sense since it is an isolate and the others are not, but it's purity and neutrality leave me with a very good impression.Upon sampling a hefty serving I have noticed no gastro-intestinal issues in comparison to some of the others.I feel as if it is a healthful pure and clean protein of the highest standards and anyone who is wary of soy should give it a try. Just because a lot of over-processed soy junkfoods give the crop a bad name, good products like this exist that people should not shy away from.

Good product
I recently started tracking my diet on Fitbit, and surprised to find I was low on protein. Not a vegan or vegetarian, just don't eat much meat. Thought I ate enough other protein rich foods. So looked for a non-flavored protein powder to add to my daily oatmeal. I already add Bob's flaxmeal to the oatmeal, so decided to try Bob's protein. It has no taste, it doesn't affect the consistency of the cereal, and adds 5g of protein to my diet every day. Have I noticed any improvement in my health? No, not really. I didn't have many complaints before. But I'll assume it has long term benefits, so I'll keep doing it. One negative: it does tend to clump up. But I also add fruit to the oatmeal while it's cooking, and I've found that stirring it with the fruit will break up the clumps.I went with Soy protein rather than whey products because sometimes when I eat ice cream I get a stomachache. I don't drink much dairy milk. I already eat tofu and soymilk, so decided on the soy powder.

Bob's Red Mill is the way to go!
This is my favorite soy powder. It blends well with what I'm making, mixing in with no bad flavor. Cam right away and in good condition. In fact I had ordered two with this order.

Good amount of protein not so great taste
The taste is quite bad so unless you’re putting it in a really flavoured drink or smoothie it will throw you off. However, if you can look at the positive which is how much protein is in it it can be overlooked.

Tried it for a year
I love this most in spaghetti. Just mix 2tbsp into your 1cup of red sauce before adding the noodles, and then you have a balanced meal that still tastes good. I love this product because it doesn't have any additives at all. 10g of protein for less than $1 to add to all your saucy pastas... that's a vegan win!

Bob's is the best
Bob's is the best. It always has been. They don't add anything to this soy powder, which is getting harder and harder to find in the stores. All the others add fake sugar, flavoring, or seeds of some sort. (Yes, Bob's adds chia seeds to some of the other flavors ... which is disgusting and a total turnoff because they puff up in the glass and gag me!) If they made this soy powder, exactly like it is, but with added chocolate flavor --- with no trace of fake sugar (including "stevia") and zero stupid seeds --- just chocolate flavor with regular sugar .... then that would be heaven. In the meantime, I just mix this in with my Ovaltine and it works great. It took a while to figure out the best way to mix it so it doesn't lump up, but it works now. (Thoroughly mix the dry powders together before adding almond milk.)Thanks, Bob's Red Mill!

Cheap for a reason
I'll start off by saying that this protein works very well for smoothies. However, I've tried mixing it with both water and soy milk in a blender bottle to horrible results. It mixes decently with water, although there are occasionally some clumps at the bottom. The problem is that it tastes disgusting, just like drinking flour water. It made me throw up one time immediately after drinking it. When I tried mixing it with soy milk, it was very clumpy and didn't mix well at all.If you're exclusively going to be making smoothies using a blender and other ingredients, I would recommend this strongly. If you're just trying to make a few quick protein shakes every day, I'd stay away.

Extra protein
Arrived in timely manner. I’ve used this product before. I like to add to my oatmeal to increase the protein in my breakfast. Works perfectly!
