I've had my Artsy for several years. The strap was not very comfortable on my shoulder, so I always kept it in storage. I have seen several bloggers who have converted their Artsy to a crossbody bag. I took a chance on this strap and I'm so glad I did. It is PERFECT! The Vachetta on this strap matches perfectly to my handle. Shipping was very quick, just a couple of days.

The criterium for this strap should not be thickness, sturdiness, durability. If I wanted that I would buy a belt. I was hoping that this item would do as a temporary strap for my alma so what was important to me was that it would would be that it is a decent match for new vanetta and I could break it down to match my bags. Fail. I opened the package today and the 'vanetta' strap smelt of paint and wilted from the heat in my hand. I could CURL it! I can't imagine that this is leather, bonded vanetta or otherwise. The vampire red edging is clearly plastic, not dye. In downtown LA this clearly faux strap would sell for $ 5 tops. The positives are that the sewing staff is excellent - could not be better. Give them a raise. The strap is straight, as far as I can tell, thanks cutters, a raise for you too, and it has hooks at either end that are cheerfully gold colored, again, not a great match for my purse(s). Otherwise, junk. Going back.

This may be real leather but I don’t think it’s actual vachetta leather. The color does match a Louis bag well, and it passes as a real LV strap, however it’s totally fine with no treatment after I was caught in a rainstorm with it. Is that a good thing? I think so, but someone who wants a strap to age with their purse’s actual vachetta should probably should pass on this one.

The color was very close to a brand new Louis Vuitton vachetta strap. And the gold hardware was a perfect match as well. If I can leave feedback again, I will let you know how the vachetta will patina with the bag. Very honest seller. The strap I purchased had a slight discoloration in the coloring, which was stated by the seller. But looking at the strap, I honestly couldn't see it. I paid $19. What a steal.

4 stars because the strap that I received is shorter then as described on Amazon. Two straps length is only 29" - 31" and three straps is only 43.5" - 48" . Its NOT 31.5"-35.5" two straps and 44.3"-51.2" three straps. But I would say the quality is good! Looks almost identical to the real LV vachetta straps.

I purchased this strap for my speedy. The design is an exact replica of the real strap. It tans like the real thing and also has great piping on the edge. The reason I did not purchase an authentic one is because I did not want to have to worry about the sweat on my shoulders warping the strap, since I was traveling to a very humid place. If you're looking for a strap, this is the perfect one. It is adjustable, can be worn short, long, or crossbody.

Real leather and so perfect for replacing my crossbody strap that was destroyed. I did treat it with angelus leather balm and tanned it in the sun so it would match my older leather trim on my purse. Great deal for the money, just took forever to get here-like 2 months!

I like how I can adjust the strap to a shorter size and how thick it is, it's just the color that bothers me. The color of the photos here is way off in person. It is more red pinkish in person. My photo doesn't even show the real color in person but you can still see the big difference. The material feels cheap also. I might return it.
