Nice and easy (mic not working with phones)
Easy install and good sound. Yet to test the microphone as the cable has to be ordered separately that would connect the phone to this unit. Took about an hour to install on N43 helmet.UPDATE: The headset connector (input) to the helmet is a 3.5mm OMTP compliant. However, most mobile phones require CTIA headset. See the difference in picture. It took me a while to realize this. Hence I ordered one of these CTIA to OMTP adapters (3.5mm both ends) and the headset works like magic. NCOM Basic Kit
The NCOM basic kit is required for all additional communication device installations with a Nolan NCOM ready helmet. Putting the thing together is relatively simple if you have patience, a small degree of mechanical aptitude and about 30 to 45 minutes of free time. The only part that gave me any trouble at all was figuring out where to set the boom mic in the helmet. There are no measurements given and the cable attaching the mic to the main unit is the only indication you have as to where the boom needs to be attached. Other than that, the unit installs quite neatly (nothing exposed, helmet feels totally unchanged once the system is installed) and while testing with the NCOM bluetooth kit, sound was crisp without distortion and overall excellent.I'll report back with a follow-up to this review once I put some miles on this setup. However, I think this is going to work out quite well.

Works good
Fits the Nolan N90 helmet perfect. Still waiting on the Bluetooth N-Com to show up but just using this plugged in to a iPhone for music the sound is loud and clear using phone on call seems the mic is really weak at other person hearing you. I'll find out better when the Bluetooth gets here.

Great System
This system was used on my Nolan N43E Trilogy along with the Bluetooth System. It works fantastic. It was made for Nolan helments and it doesn't look like a candybar attached to your helmet.
