These scissors are so thick and sturdy. Super sharp. Easily cuts through denim or silk. I hope the edge will stay sharp! But for now they mean business and get the job done! Its fun to work when you have nice tools.

These are the best scissors I've ever used in my life...and I'm 72. Yeah, they're heavy, but in a good way. They're super sharp and accurate. Money well spent.UPDATE: I still love them but while cutting fabric, I accidentally cut into a hidden needle and knicked the blade. I tried sharpening the blade but it seems that the cutting edge is very sensitive and didn't go back to being as sharp as it was. They still cut but I have to struggle when I reach the spot that I damaged. I'm gonna have to buy the scissors again. I'll be more careful next time.These scissors are a pleasure to use, but tread carefully.

These shears are great for my purpose. I’m cutting 1000D Cordura and heavyweight duck material and I really like them. Good weight in my hand, I haven’t had to sharpen them yet, so we’ll see how long that edge holds.

The wife always keeps me busy sharpening her scissors for the last 64 years so i thought it was time to get her some better quality scissors.it was a two sided win. She he gets better quality scissors and I get a break and an excuse for a new set os diamond sharpening plates.

These are not your Grandma's quilting scissors. They are large, heavy, built like the piece of industrial machinery they are, and they will quickly wear out your wrist if used a lot. However, they came perfectly tuned and adjusted from the factory, are razor sharp, and slice through very heavy upholstery fabric like it was cotton pillowcase material. Be careful, and keep them away from kids, they are so sharp they can cut you and you won't even know it happened till you see the blood.
