I buy my snaps and swivels separately and build my own snap swivels as needed. I use these to make rigging my catfishing and trolling rods so I can easily add or remove pink ladies, flashers, wedding ring rigs, whatever is needed. They lock securely and easily for my old fingers unlike some of the other types of brass snaps I've used in the past. I highly recommend them.

These little snaps work fantastically! Very durable for their small size (I just caught a 5.58lb largemouth bass that hooked my anchor line yesterday and the snap held perfectly). I like these because they are light and as such, don't inhibit the action of even my smallest crankbaits.

I recently switched to duo lock from the original snap swivels and really like them so far. This brand makes a good duo lock. They are strong and the size 4 is perfect for salmon fishing.

Very soft metal, copper, bend easily out of shape. Larger sizes #1-up may be better than #000-00, difficult to use w/o jewelers pliers.
