Shame it's Chinese again
I didn't really compare this with any other for price but I couldn't have done anything else. The only thing that displeased me was that they are blatantly Chinese. Apart from the grit size, everything else is Chinese. I do try to find products that are not made in China because I feel they're taking over the world's manufacturing and that's dangerous and leads to poor quality. I am certain that the Chinese government is sponsoring the manufacture of fake goods, quite probably in the same factory as genuine items. Take phone chargers for example. I know they make genuine ones for big names but there are fakes which are very difficult to tell apart but could set fire to your home.

Much coarser than other wet and dry
This paper is consistent and appears to be good quality BUT it is far coarser than other makes. I can get a high quality mirror finish on steel with 7000 Matador wet and dry. The 8000 and 10000 in this pack give more of a brushed finish - more like 1500 or 2000.
