Brass & Copper Anchor Oil Lamp Leeds Burton Nautical Maritime 14" Ship Lantern

I loe copper and brass nauticals.. I was looking for a nice oil lamp but this wasn't it. Other reviews mentioned a small holding tank for the oil. This is true but hold enough for our modern culture. The main design flaw is that the oil and wick is a separate detached system from the glass frame. After you light the wick and screw it back into the lantern, the heat from the wick heats the top handle so hot that it cannot be handled. You'll need to put on an oven lit to remove and blow out the wick just to turn it off. It's quite inconvenient and not worth the hastle.

The piece cane unbroken but screws were lose in box and several do not screw in al all. Some scratches are on the brass and copper. No directions on how to fill the lantern.

Useless product. Cannot control flame. Poor quality. No heat/smoke evacuation. Glass darkens immediately even with smokeless paraffine oil.

I have not lit it yet, but it seems to be a nice product.

It is very fragile. Came partly disassembled.Bottom keeps falling loose.

Great light . Three stars because it is not very heavy duty . But works well

the lamp is beautifull,, however the inside kerosene tank is very small,, holds enough kerosene for maybe 7 to 8 hours on very low
