La Cafetiere Coco Stovetop Hot Chocolate Pot and Frother, Polished Finish

I bought this to make hot chocolate...yummy! I love the color and everything about it!

I purchased this after ordering a tea kettle that was too large. Unlike my glass tea kettle this one can withstand the high setting on my electric stove, however, it does not have a whistle feature so you have to check on it. It heats water quickly (when I want a quick pot) and works really well to heat and froth hot chocolate (which I drink regularly). I've also used it to froth some mint tea, though not quite as good as pouring from a high height it still helps to aerate the tea.The handle stays cool to the touch so it's comfortable to pour.It has a nice non-stick interior so when making hot chocolate that part cleans up rather easily. Particularly if you just swish a bit of water it in right away. The mesh frother (attached to the lid, a metal rod with two mesh disks at the bottom) takes more work to clean. I've found if I immediately fill the pot with hot soapy water and then push the frother up and down a few times I can then leave it until it's time to wash the dishes and I won't have very many little bits dried onto the frother.

This product works great and doesn't scald the milk. I highly recommend!

This thing doest heat up milk very well.

Upon taking the product out of the box, rinsing it and trying it out for the very first time, the frother chipped at the interior coating, adding it to the hot milk. Not what I expected.

I love my new chocolate maker also you can warm milk, water. Perfect size for 3 or 4 cup.

The interior is plastic so is not safe for hot drinks

For a gift so not used yet. Had to buy a separate item to use on the gas hob to stop the jug from browning from the heat. Was unaware of this until I read the instructions, luckily it arrived on time to give as part of the gift.

This works well although we haven't tried it on the hob yet but used it with microwaved milk. It makes lovely and frothy hot chocolate! It's also quite large so can make enough for four people or two greedy ones! It's purely manual so you have to pump the handle quickly for 20 seconds - no electric motor.

Makes a great hot chocolate. Really stylish and well made

This is great for hot chocolate. Heats well, froths well. Does what I bought it for and very pleased with it. A bit of work required in cleaning but I bought a brush specially for it!
