Life changing advice!
When I was 28 I bought this book with $20k in debt. Two years later I had $20k in thr bank and was buying my first home. Its in the top 3 books that changed my life. Now I buy it for friends, employees and students every year. I must have bought it 50 times or more. Get it!

All the stuff they should have taught you in highschool and college... about money.
I purchased 2 of these books recently as gifts to younger friends who were asking for advice on topics like; 401k plans, what to invest in, getting out of debt and what kind of insurance to purchase. I read an older edition of this book myself about 15-20 years ago and found it to be an excellent source of information as a recent college grad who took mostly science classes and no finance, accounting or business classes. This book contains all the info they should teach kids but don't regarding money. I wish they would get back to offering home economics and consumer education courses to kids, since it seems to be an area of deficit with most 20-25 year olds I've run into recently.

Gets you the facts like a textbook
It gave me the answers I needed but I actually found Dave Ramsey’s books on finance much more interesting and easy to read.

Very informative and easy to read
I bought this book after reading Investing for Dummies from the same author. The investing book is quite literally one of the best books I have ever read. So I decided to get this one as well. For someone familiar with PF this can be a bit basic. I feel like some sections are meant for people just starting their life (college students), so I ended up skipping those. But some other sections are of great value (home owning, investing, etc.). And that's the great thing about these books, you can jump from one chapter to another anywhere in the book without having to fear you will be missing information. Just go and read the topic that really interests you.One last advice though, if your only focus is to learn more about investing in terms of personal finance, I would rather recommend the Investing for Dummies, as it is much more comprehensive; the investing section in PF for Dummies is kind of a summary of that book.

Financial Literacy Made Easy! 👍
Very useful financial info. I read this book years ago when I was a young mother, and I bought it again /ordered this latest edition to give to my two grown kids who are now college graduates. Financial knowledge I gained from this book among other Tyson tips, gave me a head start. I retired at 57.

Good Book to Cover All Bases
This is a great foundational book for someone looking to get serious about their personal finances.I knew quite a bit already before digging in, but the information in here is paramount and useful. You won’t find any secrets or specifics on investing per se, but you’ll be glad you picked this up.

Great Starter Book
No lie I started the Financial Industry with this book since I didn't know the difference between a stock and a bond!

This book explains the principles involved in pursuing personal financial success.
The knowledge presented can make the difference between personal and family success and merely living paycheck to paycheck. This is such a great buy, rich in knowledge.
