A collar that is safe but doesn't drop off within a week
I buy these as they are reflective and because they stay attached to our cats and don't fall off within a couple of days like the ones with the quick release clasps do. That said these are still safe as they are elasticated so will stretch and come off the cat in an emergency situation. As for the flea killer element, I'm not sure that really works well as we've still had fleas. Perhaps it does help.

Good for cat visibility
I love these. My cat is black and not easy to spot when he is out and about so these bands help to see him. He has came in from a night on the town without one a couple of times so I'm happy with that as it shows the cat can get free if he gets snagged on something. They have an elastic part on them so cat can wriggle free if he gets stuck. Brilliant value. I have been using for two years now and I think we are on the fourth or fifth so not too bad seen as though he is an outdoor cat.

Not normally a fan of collars
As a general rule I prefere my cats not to wear collars however after years of using alternative flea treatments my ladies have built a natural tolerance to many of the main brands, rendering them ineffective.This is one of the few products I have found that still works.It certainly kills the fleas. You can see when you find one and it's ether completely dead or on its last legs.Fleas having quite a lengthy gestational period means new ones will hatch if the cats arent frequently combed through and all bedding washed on a high temperature regularly. Also dont feel this would remove fleas without also spraying the house with a treatment also.I personally wouldn't recommend this as a stand alone product but it is effective amongst side other treatments.

Cat reflective flea collar
Great cat collar. I don’t know if it really works as a flea deterrent. My cat is always outside and has never caught fleas, so maybe!The collar itself being reflective means I can see her clearly and with the bell I can also hear her.

THESE COLLARS DO NOT BREAK EASILY
kept fleas off no problem, reflective strip was good, bit these are advertised as easy break in case outdoor cats get trapped and strangled. they do not break easily, I'm lucky I realised this before something happened!

The grip on the fastener are loose and slid open loosening the collar, hence 2 of the the collars were lost

Good collar
Not 100% sure how much these would repel fleas on their own, but I use it on my cat alongside one of the spot-on flea treatments. Good that they're reflective and can hear cat coming with the bell - although don't know how much he probably likes the bell when out hunting!
