We really like this item with only a few minor “complaints” if you even call it that. My kids and husband were all fascinated with it. Here are my pro and cons.Pros:-We love that it comes with two bases, remotes and cords. As well as 4 acrylic characters. 2 rebel alliance and 2 galactic empire. This works perfect for us because my son is all about the dark side and my daughter is most certainly a rebel! It’s a win win-The brightness is great. It’s very bright but also has a 3 mode dimmer option. This way you can set it for personal preference or size of room.-The remote control is a plus, giving you ease of access to the different colors and modes faster than tapping through the button on the base.-I would say this is very giftable. The acrylic characters are cartoonistic and cute, yet still very recognizable the kids love them.- Customer Service was great. After set up we realized one of the remotes stopped working and they sent us a replacement, hassle free and super fast!Cons:-This is really just a pet peeve for me but the “yellow” color looks green to me. Unless you place a picture side by side like I’ve included you cannot tell it is suppose to be yellow. Its just a lighter green.-The transition options are almost all the same. I wish the fade option was slower so it was more calming for the kids as a night light.-The cords are pretty short. Not necessarily a problem but would be nice if they were a bit longer. For my daughters room it didn’t matter because the outlet is directly under where I place the night light. But for my son it was too far away so I had to use a different cord that I had.*Update* 4-9-21So unfortunately my daughters base broke. It broke about a month and a half ago. The part where the plug connects was dislodged and fell inside the base. Now i can’t connect the plug it will only work on battery power.

My grandsons love these images. Tons of different colors. Well made, and fun. I highly recommend.

These are great for our kids room! Even better it comes as a pack of two. They just have to share and swap out the characters. They LOVE the remote and that they can do it themselves. I love that the they have the option to fade the colors in and out from each other or do a quick jump from color to color. The fade is much more relaxing than the jump which is like other light projectors we have had. The timer option is great. Although we were planning to leave them on all night as their night light if they get up, I don't think we will be able to. They dim fairly low and would maybe be ok on the red setting, but even our 2 year old asked us to turn it off because it was too bright to go to sleep. They don't seem to get hot at all for any parents out there like me (mom) that worries about things catching on fire. I realize this would effect the price and I realize it probably says this in the description, but my only complaint would be that we had to use some USB adapters from phones or other things. Not a big deal if you have some laying around, but annoying to have to go out and purchase. It would be nice to at least get one with the set. Other than that, these are awesome! Recommended for any Star Wars fan of any age!

There are several plaques to change out if you get tired of one. Good battery life and remote has several colors and modes. I received 2 as a birthday gift. I love it. Using 1 as a night light in bathroom . Haha!

Good value, easy to use. For gifts they are great, everyone loves them.

UPDATE: less than 5 months later and neither light works any longer. IF they turn on, they blink and change color randomly, then turn off and on at random. Quite distracting and annoying. So disappointed.I want to love this. Great concept, good nightlight for my kids' rooms. I like that there are 4 different acrylic designs to switch between and they all look terrific. Well, I would not say they look 3-D at all, but they look cool as 2-D. However, the base is the problem. It's terrible quality. I had to return our first set because one base didn't work at all. In the second set one of the bases didn't work either. Luckily I hadn't returned the first set before the second arrived so I kept the two working units and returned the two not working ones. But I use the term 'working' loosely. They don't function at all without the remote, so don't lose that! We keep it away from our kids so it doesn't 'disappear' as things tend to do when in my childrens' care. Anyway, on the base there's a power button that should make them work, but it doesn't. They'll turn on, then turn off by themselves within a few seconds. So you have to use the remote. The remote turns them on, changes their colors, changes their brightness (though they don't get very dim; for nightlights I wish they could get dimmer), as it's supposed to. But the problem is turning them off. They'll stay off for a few minutes but they always end up randomly turning back on by themselves and won't stay off. Bizarre. Anyway, I guess I'd rather them stay on all the time than off, so we're hanging onto them. So, they're cool if they work, but the 4 units we've tried have been poor quality overall. Oh, and you have to provide your own adapter to plug them into an electrical outlet. All they come with is a usb cord.

My boys love it! Bright but dimmable, lots of colors to pick or go with multi patterns.

Bought this twice for my Star Wars fan friends and they loved it! Perfect night lights for their bedroom.

Really like that it comes with two bases and several "toppers". The 10 year also loves it.
