Bali Blinds Double Curtain Rod Bracket

Such a basic little item for holding a double curtain rod yet neither Home Depot nor Lowe's nor the other stores I checked carry this particular one. Since only one side of my window needed the holder replaced due to it getting bent I didn't want to go with any of the other configurations the stores had meaning new (thus more) holes into the window frame on both sides. This way I was able to use the pre-existing holes and just replace the one side and save the other one in case it's ever needed.

Did not hold the curtain rod I bought

Well, this is a change. After being the assigned household curtain hanger for the last thirty years, I have purchased my fair share of tin, imported junk. Most of the time the screws strip out while I am trying to drive them into the wall. Or, the cheap, pot metal tabs bend when trying to attach the rod. This item is well made using quality metal. They install firmly and, as of the date of this review, include strong metal screws. The brackets hold the rods well and would be suitable for slightly heavier curtain sets, within reason.

Bought these to hold up 3 long curtains, and it holds them solidly. Was easy to install as well.

I was honestly expecting cheap, thin, flimsy metal at this price, but I was pleasantly surprised...These brackets are solidly constructed and have very little "bend" to them... the included screws (not nails like the cheap sets) are heavy enough that they could easily support two sets of heavy drapes... very pleased with my purchase!
