Not sure how this is "Nordic"
While there is a lot of good, basic healthy information in this book, sufficient for someone just beginning a healthy lifestyle, this is in now way specifically Nordic, other than the fact that the author is Swedish. I was specifically looking for Nordic information, and this book contained none. very disappointing.

Lots of useful tips.
This was an enjoyable book with lots of practical recommendations. I have incorporated many of these suggestions into my daily life. Those Scandinavian people are always one step ahead! I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for realistic health tips or just a good, quick read.

Just okay
This paperback book has some common-sense health tips...but nothing really that new or inspired. I feel like it sells just because it's part of the Nordic fad.

I re-read this book over and over!
So after a cancer diagnosis I was looking for something to help so that I could help myself. I found that this book which isn't aimed at people with cancer was really full of good ideas that were simply put. The content and the layout of the book is good. I love the style with which it is written and have been following the advice written. It isn't a big book but it is easy to navigate. It deals with several areas of your life and the recommendations are explained (and evidenced) and easy to implement. Without exercise ( recovery from a big operation) and by following the recommendations I have lost 10kgs in 6 weeks. If I could get the teenager to follow this book I would be a happy bunny!ps. I am in remission. This book didn't make me cancer free but I hope to be cancer free by living a healthier lifestyle. This book has helped. It gave me hope in the dark days.

GREAT
Lovely book giving advice on how to live a long and healthy life. Based on the Swedish 'lagom' principles of the benefits of sleep, diet, weight, being optimistic and so on. Really good book to work through to give a sense of contentment. I am pleased with my purchase and would buy again.

Healthy living
The book details ways to live your life in a much more positive and beneficial way. Tune into calmness and let the bad things go, ie, bad drivers who annoy you can never be changed. Change your way of thinking. Great book. Bought second-hand and was in very good condition.

Read it and Act
Tells you things you should really know but do not think about. In my opinion if everyone adopted the recommendations the NHS would have spare hospital beds and low patients in doctors surgeries!
