I like the larger, not the smaller one
The bristles are soft & dense & do not shed. However, I feel like the smaller one's bristles are not long enough or stiff enough to effectively apply my concealer. I use a powder concealer & have been applying it with a Bare Escentuals brush for years; they showed me how to press the concealer gently into the skin for good coverage & staying power. This one just can't do that. It could brush the concealer on, but the bristles just aren't the right length or consistency for pressing into the skin.I do like the larger brush though! It is very soft, and it seems to nicely blend the areas of my face that need a lot of concealer with the areas that don't, so you can't tell at all where the heavy concealer begins & ends. It feels very pleasant on the skin and I feel like it gives me a nice consistent coverage & overall glow.I'd give the large brush 5 stars & the small one 2 stars. So we'll call it 4 stars for the set.

So effective, and no product waste!
This photo is of my large brush after three days of concealer application under and around my eyes and on blemished or scabbed areas. Notice any concealer? No—and I haven’t washed it. This brush just doesn’t waste any concealer at all!I have been a beautyblender gal for a while so it feels sort of blasphemous to use something else for concealer, but bb just isn’t great at concealing blemishes I’ve picked at. This conceals them perfectly while not wasting product. The small brush is good for really detailed work but I don’t need it much since the big one can also do small jobs.I took off one star for the total lack of instructions. Use these wet? Dry? With how much product compared to normal? With any particularly helpful technique? These are things they should cover in an insert.

Seems to me a good value-based brush.
I've always used a brush for my powder so I was comfortable using this but I've never tried one for my concealer. Both brushes are synthetic fibers that happened to be very soft and the head is full. The handles are plastic and seem to feel fine in my hand and both brushes are light. I've noticed a tiny bit of shedding but so far not much and they wash fairly well. I would say these are pretty good value based brush and definitely good for a non-professional like myself. Overall, I'm satisfied with the job that they are doing.

The right tools make the difference
In make-up application, the right brushes are the difference between flawless application and make-up looking too cakey. I have a buffer concealer brush (flatter end bristles) that works great for covering up blemishes but didn't really do the job for under-eye circles. This thicker, rounder brush is a revelation for that. I just dotted my concealer under-eye and then rolled the brush over the dots for smooth, full coverage. The smaller brush is great for areas around the nose. I wish the brushes would come with cases like the ones I get at Sephora, but otherwise I am happy with these. The bristles are soft and the brushes seem sturdy and well-made so far.

Soft, dense brushes
I'm not used to applying foundation or concealer with brushes, so this is all new to me. I like the long handles of these brushes -- I can get a good, steady grip on them, which makes application more precise. The bristles are soft and densely packed. I haven't had any trouble with them coming loose and sticking to my makeup. I can't compare them to other brushes, since I've never used any others, but these are definitely a worthy choice.

Nice, but pricy
I use Sephora under eye cream concealer in a tube, and I haven't tried applying it with a brush before receiving these concealer brushes, but they work great. The larger rounded one is good for dabbing and spreading the cream while the smaller one helps blend it with shadow at the corners of my eyes. The brushes seem good quality, with wooden handles that are easy to hold on to and helpful labels at the ends of the handles so you don't get them mixed up. But they're not cheap, so they better last a long time.

Great structure and feel and performance.
I got two sets of these marvelous makeup brushes: the two eye crease brushes (full, for applying the eye shadow and detailed crease for applying a slightly darker eye shadow shade for the crease.) I also got the set called “conceal.” Basically, these are contouring brushes, excellent for shading foundation or powder (darker shade along the perimeter of the face to make a full face look slimmer or a highlighting shade in areas—like the cheeks—which you might want to bring forward.) The smaller of the two brushes is for accenting small areas, such as the side of the nose or under the eyebrows. What I find truly impressive is the quality of the brush bristles. I’ve never had softer or more tightly packed brushes. Powder sticks to it and it “paints” almost perfectly evenly—not a big blob of color where you start and thinning out as you continue. The hairs are also evenly trimmed—you don’t have to come back to finish a job badly done, the contours and hair length are exactly what they should be with no loose or longer hairs sticking out or one side different from the other. These are brushes that will serve you well for makeup purposes. They don’t shed like others do, one hair at a time. They are not going to be relegated to the grandkids’ art supplies after a while of use because these will stand up to frequent use and occasional rinsing for a long, long, time. They are an investment and will continue to serve their purpose.
