Stellar1000 Stainless Steel Casserole Pan and Lid (18CM)

Very useful size. Hollow double handles don't get too hot depending on method and length of time heating. I use an induction hob and found the handles stay cool enough. I also use it in the oven which you can't really do with a single long handled saucepan so this design is more versatile.No signs of rust spots or that weird black metalic residue that you get with cheap Chinese stainless steel.Washes up well in dishwasher and any tough leftovers tend to soak off really easily with hot water and a squirt of washing up liquid. Carbonised food remains will require elbow grease as it doesn't have a toxic non stick lining.Is the sort of weight that is light enough to pick up easily for people like me with weak grip but substantial enough to do its job properly without warping.

The pot didn’t come in it’s stellar box so can I assume these are fake?

A beautiful pan - everything about it is the best, exactly as you'd expect from Stellar.

I have been using this casserole pan now for several years and it has been a good one, the only grips I have are the black sealant ring around the top knob handle breaks up over time which makes it take in water when washed and releases a brown liquid through the breakage point, also be aware the lid and handles get hot when in the oven and do not forget to use oven gloves when cooking when taking off the lid, I have been caught out several times it gets HOT.

I have had these casserole pans before, I really love them, so easy to pick up with 2 handles.
