Excellent product!
I recently started using this product and have consumed one bag of it. To be candid, I was skeptical about its ability to provide any results. But, I noticed that my workouts improved - I could do more on the treadmill and more weights. The results were amazing. I recently had my annual physical with my doctor and I had one of the best blood pressure readings in the past 10 years. So, to answer that all important question: Does this product really work?, I would have to say, definitively, YES! I highly recommend it, full stop. This is an addendum to my original review. I have now consumed three bags of this product. The results are phenomenal. My workouts have improved, my doctor, for the first time ever, described my lab results as "excellent," and my blood pressure is lower than ever. (It was borderline high before.) Best of all, my love life is also greatly improved.

Continuing to Work to Improve my Physical Activity Capabilities
As a long time age group endurance athlete who enjoys working to improve what my body can do, I started periodically using Unbeetabrew for its nitric oxide benefits to help improve the oxygen delivery to my active muscles. I do enjoy coffee and do enjoy workouts, so at the time it seemed like a good combination, and I am very supportive of what Unbeetabrew provides.

Good Taste, Healthier than My Regular Coffee
While I am not at all ready to give up my morning coffee, I am willing to compromise on a coffee blend of sorts that is healthier and/or more beneficial for me than the pure coffee I am currently drinking. This Unbeetabrew Beet-Infused Performance Coffee looks like it might fit the bill. Opening the package was easy enough, and It was nice to find a scoop inside that I could use to measure the coffee with. The coffee blend is an interesting reddish color with flecks of brown. I could not get the bag to reseal no matter what I tried, and finally just ended up using a couple of chip clips to hold it shut. I'll probably just transfer it to another container later. The instructions say to add 1 to 1.5 scoops to 6 to 8 ounces of hot or cold water. I tend to like my coffee mild, so I just used 1 scoop with hot water. Since the coffee was still pretty dark in color when I got to 8 ounces of water, I continued adding hot water until I was at about 11 ounces, leaving enough room in my cup to add my usual French vanilla creamer. Sipping it before the creamer, it seemed about right. After I added my creamer, I was definitely satisfied. I find that most instant coffee has a bitter aftertaste, but I was pleased to find that this one doesn't. The taste is smooth and rich. Not as good as brewed coffee in my opinion, but I haven't found an instant coffee yet that is, so I don't hold that against this brand. The major advantage of instant coffee for me is when I travel and do not have access to a coffee pot. Because this is one big bag instead of individual serving sized packets, though, I don't see myself taking this with me when I'm away from home. When I am at home, I have access to brewed coffee so I don't usually have either a desire or a reason to drink instant coffee at all. However, this coffee blend promises improved oxygen delivery, increased focus, energy, and endurance throughout the day. With a serving size of 1 scoop, there are 30 scoops in this bag for a current list price of $49.95. I will trade my brewed coffee flavor for the promised benefits of this coffee for the rest of this bag, and at that point I'll know if I'm willing to pay $49.95 to reorder it.

Difficult to tear/reseal package, get your creamer ready.
I had high hopes for this, as the ingredients and benefits looked great. But from the beginning was disappointed.Tore the top using the pre-tears, couldn't open the bag. Had to make another tear, this time got through the super glue. One nice thing is the included scoop wasn't buried and was handle up!Followed instructions, took several tries to get the bag sealed (I thought my second tear attempt had ripped the seal). When that was finally done, I thought, well, at least the coffee will be good!Nope. The only way it would've been drinkable for me would've been to add more sugar/creamer/milk than the coffee. For some reason I got acidity, other flavors that turned me off. I love beets and mushrooms and have tried plenty of instant powder mixes for both, so this really surprised me.Might've been an older batch, as the ingredients were a sticker over older ingredients. But I ended up dumping my cup and gifting the bag to someone who does use lots of sugar/creamer/milk and will appreciate the ingredients/benefits.

I Should've Passed
I'm sure this is a good product idea. Beets, mushrooms, coffee? Good-for-you coffee. It sounds like a good idea to be honest. On the other hand, it is hard to afford something that is better. Around $50, this averages to less than $2 per cup. It certainly is a pretty decent value give the added benefits. The taste? I didn't like it, and didn't see much benefits from it. And, given that the coffee is a base for my homemade mochas. This isn't something I found that great and wished I'd have passed on.

Not Bad, But...
I've tried a variety of regular coffee and coffee brewing methods and I've tried quite a few different instant health coffees. This "Unbeetabrew" isn't too bad. It's mostly instant coffee with some beet powder and mushroom powder mixed in. It's easy to make: just add hot water following the directions. It sort of looks like and smells like regular instant coffee. There are no added sugars or junk like that. There are 90mg of caffeine per serving. That's around as much as a regular cup of coffee.Having said that, I can taste the beet and mushroom powders in this coffee. That's not horrible since I like beets and mushrooms. But they make this instant coffee taste a little more earthy. The beet taste does throw me off just a little. I added some frothed milk and just a little sweetener and it was better. So the taste is fine, but not awesome. Also, I noticed the price is quite high. I realize there are health benefits in drinking this coffee blend (YMMV), but it's pretty expensive! Might be cheaper just to drink regular coffee and take beet or mushroom supplements separately if that saves money.
