Works Great.
Works with Gell 1545. Battery was very low but unit had it charged up in ~40 min. Ran pretty warm during that time but only slightly warm now to keep battery topped up.

Just what we needed
We received this product very quickly! Works perfectly and has a very long cord, which is what we needed. Great adapter!

Dell 1545 Laptop Charger (hex plug)
This adapter works like it should, a real deal for the exact charger I needed. Many people aren't aware that the Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop could use 1 of 2 power adapters, the normal round one doesn't work properly for my laptop, so the info that it's the one with the hex plug was needed to prevent returning it.

Works as advertised.
So far so good. Runs a bit warm, but so did my Dell one. All in all, works well, so far, and was inexpensive.

Doesn't charge laptop battery.
Was not able to charge my battery in my laptop. Message says plugged in not charging. In bios it doesn't detect it as being the right adapter.

Great price and worked well as a replacement adapter for our laptop. This one has the larger octagonal plug so make sure your laptop uses that.
