All in the cards right?
This book is interwoven with the Cherish Underworld series, the story of the three Aetós brothers. It is meant to be a peek into Damen and Bianka’s story.*************In this story you get a completely different viewpoint into Damen, compared to how he is in his brother Arsen's books (Capture, Control, Covet, Cherish.) While you absolutely don't have to read those to read this, you get a better understanding of who he and his family is by reading those books. Those are focused on his brother Arsen, but he is in them. You'll understand the tension between him, his brother, and Fiore by reading those.Damen in this book is such a contrast to the one in his brothers books. The one before you see a cold, careless man. While he does show some emotion for his brothers, he has absolutely none for anyone else. Not even his brothers "pet" as she's called. Fiore. In this one, he shows that there is more below the surface than what you see. He's not completely gone.Bianka is a traveller, the Irish version of Roma culture. A gypsy in one aspect, and in a way her father sold her. He had a gambling debt and he used her to pay it off. The lucky buyer was none other than Damen Aetós. While she knows he's in the mob and they call him the Monster, she doesn't expect him to have a heart. She also didn't expect him to help her when she asked. Just like he didn't expect her to have a gift that could save their lives.I love this one because it's slightly different from what this author usually does, and you get a different look into the character of this man. You think him to be so cold and calculating, but you see that he's not. He can be more. And all it takes it one small woman to bring it out of him. And for her, it take a guy that may have been mobbed up with a more than shady past, but shows her how to live beyond her father's reach. At the same time, we know this author loves to keep us wanting for more. Always has you saying, I want more. And oh my Gods do I. All in the tarot. Surprise!!

Awesome!
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.Wow—this book is dark, intense, riveting and suspenseful! This short read was impossible to put down, and it will have you on the edge of your seat. I wasn't expecting the turn this story just took; it has quite an unexpected surprise that is jaw-dropping good! Olivia, your dark romances are the exceptional! This is the story of Damen Aetós, also known as Madman and a mob boss, who is the brother of Arsen—main character from the Cherish series. Bianka is the beautiful daughter of the Irish mob boss, and she is forced to marry Damen because her father sold her to wipe out his debt to Damen. Bianka knows who Damen is and what he does, but Damen does not know anything about Bianka. Bianka has some secrets that are explosive and will shatter Damen’s world. Can't wait to read how Damen and Bianka's journey ends. There are several twists and turns within the story that makes it interesting. The story will also pique your interest and draw you in from the beginning to the very end.

What does the High Priestess card represent to Bianka and Damen.
Two people destined to meet and move forward on an unknown path, traveller Bianka, is blackmailed by her Patriarch father into marrying mob boss Damen Aetos, nicknamed the madman for his sociopathic killer tendencies. He is brother to the main character, Arsen Aetos in Olivia Ryann’s Mafia Romance, the Cherish series, and this is a short introduction to him and his new wife Bianka.Granted, there isn’t much time to get to know Bianka and Damen, but what we do find out, it’s that Bianka and her sister possess a strong gift inherited from their mother, and a penchant for tarot cards, as does Damen, although each is keeping this secret from the other. It is a very short and succinct novella building in suspense and action right to the end, leaving me in need of their next book. In the meantime, I might have to go and check out Arsen’s story. 4 Stars and a need to check out a genre that I normally avoid.

Very interesting read...
GAH! I have so many questions. But it's nice to read a story where it interlinks to another. This one is moving simultaneously with the rest of The Cherish series. But unfortunately there are no intimate moments. You could tell Bianka and Damen are falling for each other. Ever so slowly. And it was nice of Damen to save Cass (Bianca's sister). This was way too short. I feel like I needed more. But it's still an extremely good read. I really enjoyed it. Bianka and her feelings. I wonder what she'll feel next...

❤️🌼🔥SO, DAMEN AETÓS DOES HAVE A HEART!!!!!❤️🌼🔥
After reading CAPTURE, CONTROL and COVET, I had written off DAMEN AETÓS aka MADMAN, as a sociopathic mob enforcer who runs his life by reading Tarot cards....Who knew he had a heart❤️???? ❤️🌼🔥The hand of life Bianka Braemar has been dealt is horrible.....When her father pays his gambling debts with Bianka’s hand in marriage to the MADMAN, there is only one solution if she is to save her little sister Cass from the same life she has lived...and, possibly, the same fate....But Damen Aetós has more in common with Bianka than either of them might think....And they are physically attracted to each other...I hope we get more of Damen and Bianka in CHERISH....I wasn’t ready for THE HIGH PRIESTESS to end....❤️🌼fire

Duty and Danger
The High Priestess is the first part of what is bound to be a dark but steamy ride. Damon believes that a Tarot card reading is leading him to the High Priestess. He is a dark soul with a dangerous job. When he has the opportunity to marry Bianka, he takes it. Bianka has her own reasons for getting married and a gift that might be useful for him. Damen is showing signs that he may be developing feelings for her but fate intervenes. They are in danger. This book was a great starter for the series. I can not wait for the follow up books.

Makes your head spin while trying to stay on your toes!
Wow! I hated Damen when we were first introduced to him in the Cherish Underground series and he really loves to push buttons! Now I can't get enough and need to dig deeper. I'm so hooked on Bianka, she's so sweet, quiet and trying to protect her sister. I'm on the edge of my seat and can't wait for more!!I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
