They're not exaggerating when they say micro mini skirt. You will definitely need to wear something underneath it if you are planning on wearing this little skirt out!!! According to the sizing guide a small fits a 26-27 inch waist...and it does, however; it is so micro short, it came just to my 'china' & didn't cover my behind. I am not a big girl, 5'6" 120 lbs. I do not have a long torso nor do I have a bubble butt! I would suggest buying up a size, & pulling it down on your hips to gain some length, which is what I'm planning to do.

I have this same skirt in red thus had prior knowledge of the skirt's length/style and how the size I ordered would fit me. I am a very petite/small boned person (5'6.5 and a little over 100lbs) so with the appropriate shoes and shirt am able to wear this skirt out in public without overexposure. I DO NOT THINK THIS WOULD APPLY TO MOST OTHERS who may order this skirt as it is quite short. The quality is quite good for an item that probably is primarily used as an in-the-bedroom ensemble. Unlike other similar skirts I appreciate the zipper this has versus a Velcro closure. I would probably prefer if the skirt were an inch or two longer, just because I think I would have more options of tops/shoes to pair with it. I still like the skirt regardless (which is why I have 2 now) and when I do wear out in public frequently get compliments (the majority from men...) so I would recommend this skirt to others. Again, I don't think buyers should expect to be able to wear this out in public unless they are very petite.

Considering the slightly more durable quality of the skirt and the price it's not that bad. My big complaint is with the sizing chart. Seriously, do some clothing manufacturers really not know how long a standard inch actually is?? I've had trouble ordering clothes online before because of sizing issues, so I took precaution and measured twice, read where the skirt was supposed to sit on my body, and ordered the proper size accordingly. I even ordered a size up that should have given me 2-4 inches extra just in case. When the skirt came in, I tried it on and it was several inches too small. I honestly thought they had sent me the wrong size, but I checked the tag and sure enough it was the exact size I had ordered. Luckily for Amazon (and the manufacturer, since its not really Amazon's fault) I needed the skirt for the coming weekend so I wouldn't have had time to send it back and try to get another one hoping it would fit right. I ultimately kept the useless thing and altered it on the sides to fit me, but for the price it was too much trouble.

What a fun little piece for playing dress up. It was a little small in the waist size. Of course, I know that I it is a mini skirt, but it was tight. I love the purple color and really recommend this for playing around with your hubby.

I ordered the medium and was concerned it may be too small for me based on the other reviews but it fits perfectly! Sits low on the hips, about 3 inches below the belly button. Skirt is very short but this is what I was after. As most reviews say these are mostly for an at home use however if you were going to go an appropriately themed party and have the confidence to wear this why not? It covers the butt but only just barely. I would recommend this purchase.

Loved it yes you should buy this quality is good and not costume material. Fits way short but that is the point right? If you have a big butt of course it fits shorter duh. Consider that when buying it. Big butt get a size up if small but get your size. Yes your butt will show out the back if you twerk or bend over etc. I guess it depends on why you are buying this.

Normally have to purchase an XL for my wife, (size 16/18) however this skirt wrapped around her with no room to clasp. It did end up on the floor just as I had planned but much quicker as she took it from the wrapper tried it on and threw it down in disgust.....

I love this skirt. I wish it was a tad cheaper, but I am happy with my purchase. For reference, I'm 5ft1, 120lbs, and I bought the small in black. It's low rise and perfect.
