W5SWL Brand Premium Series Coax Connector UHF SO-239 Teflon & Gold 4 Hole Mount

It's a really decent connector. It stood up to my terrible soldering and is very sturdy as the base of a 2m wire 1/4 wave vertical ground plane, which is the primary goal I had when I bought these. I bought several for a few different projects still to come. I would buy from W5SYL again.

I used five of these to make some ground-plane antennas. The devices held up to being heated by a butane torch when soldering the radiator into the center-piece. The antennas work wonderfully. I will be ordering more of this exact device when I need them in the future.

Good connector, used for homemade ham antenna

This was my second order of SO-239 connectors from the W5SWL shop. I had mentioned in an earlier review that I would be purchasing a few more of these connectors in the near future. This second order also arrived earlier than scheduled, and were of the same excellent quality as the first order. Once again, I am very happy with the purchase. I will be using Dave's shop whenever possible for my RF connector needs.

These are very awesome! The Teflon insulator is perfect for soldering as it will not melt easily. I have made three antennas directly soldering 3mm copper wire on to the center connector and screw holes, they all work excellently.A note for soldering radials on to the screw holes: sand or Dremel the area around the holes for the best adhesion with solder.

Not a name brand item, but high quality teflon insulator, with extra strong support of the center conductor. Cheaper versions have center conductors that separate or break out of the teflon when stressed. Not this one. I use these for my kilowatt coax. Great quality as usual from W5SWL.

Priced a bit more, but the quality difference is definitely worth it. Will be ordering more.
