The back is held in by a series of screws on each edge of the back of the frame, which makes it a bit annoying to open and close. The back is straight wood and doesn't have much room to actually pin anything on, so you have to hang medals by pinning the fabric between the back of the frame and the front, which is also annoying due to the screws mentioned previously. Other than that it is a fine frame and looks pretty once it's set up..

Very nice and sturdy...hate there’s no where to hide the long ribbon on my medal...I had to fold it and tape it to the back...but other than that it is really nice

Great for the smaller medals without an around the neck ribbon.We wanted to mount a medal that had a full around the neck ribbon.So all those pin-on Army medals. This is a quality product otherwise. High quality construction, promptly shipped, and packed in a million layers of bubble-wrap.

Frame back is fastened by screws and was difficult to remove and reassemble. The pad which the medal ispinned is very difficult to penetrate and I could not refasten the medals clasp.The frame itself was of high quality and packaged very securely for shipment.

Very pleased with this display case! The item is as described, was packed well, and sent fassst! Highly recommend.
