My son loves these things. Will drive you nuts with the squeaking

My daughter loves jabber balls. She had been watching videos and we purchased one for her. Maybe we received a bad one, but the squeaking sound is low pitched and only makes the sound when the tongue sticks out, not when it goes back in (like we saw on all the videos we watched). We didn't want to go through the trouble of returning, so we just kept it.
