A truly amazing microphone!
I have had a few different microphones ranging from the Rodes, like the NT-USB and the procaster and more recently the Shure SM7B(which I also love). Both of the Rodes were pretty good, though the NT--USB picked up far too much ambient sound, as neither of my setups are sound treated. I wasn’t really in the market for a new mic but in February 2019 I came across a video about the Stealth and I decided to get one immediately it became available. Mine is plugged into a Rode ai-1(a great audio interphase) and with phantom power on I tend to have the interphase turned way down, even at the 25% gain level it’s incredibly loud. I love the way the mic makes my voice sound and I intend to use this and the SM7B in alternating videos as I love them both. This is a better option than the SM7B as it sounds just as good if not better but doesn’t need a Fethead or cloudlifter and even without considering those extras which are required for the SM7B, the Stealth is about £60 less expensive than the Shure. If you’re in the market for a great mic and have the budget for it then you really must get this over similarly priced competeitin, you won’t regret it. An absolute gem.

Excellent
Lovely mic, great sound and versatile. Excellent value for money. The internal pre amp is every bit as good as an outboard pre.

Hell yes.
This is a very good microphone, not as sharp and bright as a condenser mic, but still detailed and smooth. Multiple voicings are nioce, but I've mainly used V1 voicing. Works extremely well on a bass guitar cab

Amazing customer support
I've been using this mic for a couple of years. It has become a go to mic for me, I love it. The various setting really do make a big difference. I have A/B tested this mic against more expensive mics and it stands up so well in all tests. The customer support from Aston is superb. I snapped the stand mount recently and got in touch with Aston to try and purchase a new one as everywhere was out of stock. They sent me a new one within a week, for free! You can't beat that kind of customer support. They now have a customer for life.

Make sure the shock mount is secure and be careful When using phantom power
Love this mic, I wanted it because I record my vocals in an untreated room and due to my research it appears that a dynamic mic works better in that situation... Be warned...It is highly directional, moving your mouth a little bit off axis cause a slight level drop..... It has a built in pop filter but just to be safe I use an additional pop filter....be warned....the internal preamp is a powerhouse..I use a iconnectivity Audio4+ and with phantom power the gain is turned down to 1!!!! Passive mode, I have to turn the gain past 12.o clock, much more than my SM58...I find the supplied shock mount effective.....I like this mic, it's stylish, clean and true..I would have liked to see an included case and conventional shock mount and maybe a built in trim pot for the internal preamp
