dense, weighty pads with good adhesive. cracks when cold, though.
I just installed these pads on my classic car restoration. I think they have excellent sound deadening potential due to their density. It was a 70 degree day and I laid the pads individually on the warm asphalt driveway. They softened nicely and applied to the metal easily, molding well to the interior contours of the sheet metal. HOWEVER, packaging needs to be improved! When shipped, undoubtedly some bending of the package will occur and the pads crack when cool. So even though they were very flexible when warmed, putting the pieces together on the car's interior was like doing a puzzle! If a non-flexible packaging was used so the shipped pads didn't crack, this would be an excellent product.

Good deadener.
this is my first use of sound deadener so I wouldn't have anyhting to compareit with. I did notice a difference it outside sound as it was reduced. The material is easy to work with and adheres very well.

Must have for new cars and truck as there is little to no insolation.
This Illuminates road noise and increases the sound of your speakers. Especially important if you have a subwoofer in the trunk. This will laminate the rattling. this stuff really does work. My truck had a sound like you were in a 50 gallon drum. Now the road noise is eliminated the music sounds correct and the base does not rumble in the car

good product
used before, but this batch came cracked and dried out.... wonder how old this was before shipped to me? When Ive used this before it really works nice to deaden up the sound in a cars door. Makes a Honda door close like a Cadillac.

Works best with the use of a heat gun.

These things work great. If it is cold
These things work great. If it is cold, use a heat gun or store them in a warmer area prior to use. That will keep them from appearing brittle. Heat make them pliable again

Great product and a great price.
Work great and at a great price point. Not foil backed but not necessary for my needs though I am used to seeing it that way. Sticks very well and even more so if you hit it with a little heat while or after applying. Has a ton of uses. Everything from making cheap metal drawers on a rolling toolchest seem much thicker than they are (and less noisy) to silencing a metal sink also making it seem thicker than it is.
