Slidy enough
I'm not using this for what most people are - I'm a keyboard slider. Meaning, when I'm using my computer I slide the keyboard around constantly, on a large desk mat. Most people don't do this. So, obviously, most keyboards come with grippy rubber or silicone feet to keep it planted. At one point I had some teflon tape, but it was misplaced, and I never liked how thick it was, and the adhesion wasn't great. This tape is THIN, so I was able to really press it into the little nooks around the keyboard feet. It does have some stretch to it and the adhesion is very good, much better than what I was using before. I trust it will not leave any residues given it's intended purpose. Also, made in Canada apparently. Neat, eh.

OUTSTANDING
Perfect to wrap whatever you need to be safe from heat etc (circuit bords, battery packs, etc)I wouldn't use it as a tape for your Amazon's returns, though. It's a bit pricey :) I'm sure you can find some normal tape for that (wink)

Amazing Kapton with PLA and PETG results and application instructions in review...
I did a lot of research to find the best value for this type of tape. Using a small printer to try it out I first wiped the print bed with some alcohol to make sure it was clean for adhesion. Then inspected it for any leftover materials talk to it and clean that up. There is a photo of the thickness on my caliper in the photo section.I always like to leave a folded area of tape on my bed so that I can reach it easily to peel it off. I do the same fold on the roll so I don't have to waste time trying to peel it off the roll when needed. Also, the tape starts about an inch BEFORE the YELLOW pull tab. I kept trying to get my finger nail under the pull tab and then I hunted down the elusive beginning of the roll and found it way before the tab. I have already put about 40 hours on this one application alone and it’s doing great. If you look at the photos you will see my application method including using a plastic card from my wallet to act as a application squeegee. When you put it down side by side, squeegee the joint first. Normally I work from the center out but the joint is so important if your printing over it and don't want a line to show up. Even though I did not need to I treated it like a window tent installation and if I saw a bubble I just poked it with a sharp point and then push the air out.The white photo on the green board shows the surface quality with PLA from the tape. The Black item is the PETG.What really surprised me was how will the items state attached and I had not noticed any edge working yet. Always make sure you try to detach your object at an extremely low angle. Never use a tool that might get out your tape and print bed. I practically slide a putty knife that’s been beveled from one side only to the edge so that I don’t really have to tilt the knife to get it under the plastic. The biggest shock for me was that it actually held the PETG plastic which is supposed to be very difficult especially since I can only hit my bed to 60°C. Every time I used it the PETG stuck. The original tape is still on the print but at this moment and it’s extremely easy to peel off. Many people always complain about the thickness of the tape but I’ve been very satisfied with what I have. It works great for me and I’m sure you’ll find out that it will work great for you. I hope this helps you make your decision. I will buy more from this seller. I really really hope you LIKE t his video. Have a great build!

It works!
I am a professional, commercial, industrial welder and Pipefitter. I bought this to try out for helping the purge process for stainless steel pipe and tubing. It was a long shot, but I saw the 500 degree rating and said “okay, bet.” It works, and now work is buying it for me.

Works Well for 3D Printing
Was having trouble with prints dislodging on my Creality Ender 3 Pro after buying a new glass plate. This helped a lot. It is thin enough you don’t really have to readjust the bed height. The downside is getting the tape down without bubbles or creases. Takes a little practice. Some of them are easy to “iron” out.

No cumple con descripción
Se recibió producto, pero no cumple totalmente con la descripción. Es una cinta de Poliamida genérica, pero saca el trabajo... El adhesivo es... regular.

Will mot come off roll very well
I paid a lot of money for this item thinking it would be good , i was using it to put on my 3d printer bed but it is very hard to unroll infact that hard to unroll the tape deforms so it wont go on the printer bed straight so give this a wide birth . Ive no use for this tape now so i just use it for packaging and wrapping boxes i think the problem is its very very old tape or has been left in the sun or in a very cold room hence the problem

OK, but not as good as the original DuPont Kapton
OK for non-demanding applications, but this tape is not as mechanically strong, and the adhesive is not as uniform, as in the original DuPont/RS Hughes Kapton brand. I use it for taping protective plastic sheets to the floor, for non-demanding HVAC work (ducts and adapters). since it leaves no residue, is stronger than aluminum tape, and does not have a smell.

Very good
Used this to protect a latex mould as i wanted to go over the latex a with a 3D pen. This worked really well and protected the latex from the heat of the pen.overall i am very satisfied.

Great tape
I use this to protect the back of a motherboard in a printer, on a heated bed, under the clips (CR6 SE) without any issue. I also use it so some higher temperature applications. The adhesive seems good and it does seem to have the correct heat resistant.
